❤️❤️❤️

09/12/2026

It was an absolutely packed house this morning at our annual FLAG Kids Volunteer Training! It was a wonderful time of fellowship, food, raffles and most importantly becoming better equipped to minister to the kids at FLAG.church. We also received training from a special needs expert to make sure we live up to our motto this year- “No Kid Gets Left Behind”

“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” Mark‬ ‭10‬:‭14‬ ‭

SUNDAY, AUGUST 16

NOTE: Kids?? Absolutely! If parents feel that their child understands what the meaning of water baptism is, has surrendered their life to Jesus, and has consulted with the Kids Ministry Director or NextGen Pastor, we will gladly sign them up.

*****************************

Why get water baptized?

It is simply an outward declaration of an inward work of salvation that Christ has performed in your life. This was something new Christians in the Bible did right after being born again.

How is someone baptized in water?

By total immersion in water, as was done in the Bible. Matthew 28:19; Colossians 2:12

When and where is the next baptism service at FLAG?

Immediately after the morning worship service on Sunday, August 16. A portable baptistry filled with water will be placed under the porta-cache (covered drop off area).

Do I have to be a member of FLAG?

No. Just be a born-again believer.

Will I receive instructions before being baptized?

Yes. Candidates will receive information regarding what to wear and how to prepare in advance. Also, there will be a short orientation class conducted by Pastor Cortez at 9:00am in the Kids Church space that same day.

How can I get more information to learn about water baptism?

OK, I’m interested! What do I do next?

Just contact the church office by sending a quick email:
