Over the past two Sundays, something beautiful has been happening in Rez Kids! Eight of our children made the decision to actively follow Christ in all that they do and publicly declared their commitment to Him! 🎉👏🏽

Throughout our lessons, our children have been learning a powerful truth: God's presence is with us EVERYWHERE we go! ❤️

They discovered that the Holy Spirit lives within us and that God's presence isn't limited to the four walls of a church. He's with us when we're doing our hair, brushing our teeth, riding to school, taking a difficult test, reading our Bibles, and even when we get hurt or feel alone.

No matter where we are or what we're facing, GOD IS WITH US! 🙏🏽

To celebrate this beautiful lesson, our children created their very own "God's Presence Prayer Photo Cards" as a special reminder that God's presence is always with them.

💙 We are so proud of our Rez Kids and excited to see how God continues to grow their faith!

WOW! What an amazing parade—and what an incredible float created by our Resurrection Church family! 🎉

A HUGE thank you to every volunteer who helped bring this float to life and to our parade chair Britt who pioneered the happy birthday america design!

Thank you to everyone who donated candy, hay bales, the trailer, decorations, Resurrection swag, supplies, time, and helping hands. And thank you to everyone who showed up on parade day to decorate, walk, pass out candy, and represent Resurrection in our community!

A special shout-out to Jason Cagle for pulling our trailer and helping us make it all happen!

This was truly a TEAM effort, and we are so grateful for each and every person who played a part.
We love you, Resurrection! 💙 What an amazing church family! 🎂🎉

Resurrection is hitting the parade route this Saturday, and we’re entering the competition to WIN! 🏆 Come out, bring the family, and cheer on our Church as we bring our “Birthday Card to America” theme to life!

Want to walk in the parade with us and hand out candy? We’d LOVE to have children, youth, and adults join the fun!

💵📖 The Bible Bucks Pop up Store was a HIT yesterday!

Our Rez Kids came ready to EARN! 🙌🏽 Kids earned Bible Bucks by bringing their Bibles, finding Scripture, and even reciting the books of the Old & New Testaments!

Then came the fun part… SHOPPING! 🛍️🎉

🍂 What an AMAZING Fall Kickoff with our Rez Kids!

Our kids had a blast “Falling in Love with Trusting God” through the story of Gideon in Judges 6–7!

💥 During our Courage Cup Knockdown, each child aimed for ONE fear they wanted God to help them overcome. But when that fear fell, others came tumbling down with it—a powerful reminder that when we trust God with one fear, He can help us overcome so much more!

🧢 Then they “put on courage” by creating Courage Caps with reminders that GOD IS WITH THEM!

Courage doesn’t mean you never feel afraid. Courage means trusting that GOD IS WITH YOU even when you are afraid!

When Gideon was hiding in fear, God didn’t call him fearful. He called out who He knew Gideon could become:

“The LORD is with you, mighty warrior.” — Judges 6:12

❤️ That’s what we want our Rez Kids to remember: Even when you feel afraid on the inside, God is with you. He sees who He created you to be, and with Him, you can walk in courage!

What a beautiful day of faith, fun, and learning to TRUST GOD! 🍁

Our giant “Birthday Cake to America” parade cake is coming together—and now we need YOU to help us decorate it! 🎨✨

We had so much fun building the base, and now it’s time to bring the cake to life!

What a special Sunday as we presented 8 of our Rez Kids with their very own Bibles during our Children’s moment and in Children’s Church! We reminded them that this isn’t just another book—it’s extraordinary because it’s God’s living and active Word! It speaks to us, guides us, and changes the way we live from the inside out. 🙌

A special shout-out to our leader for the day Bristol, who received her Bible from Rez Kids two years ago and shared with the other kids how she has taken care of it and continues to read it today! ❤️📖

Our prayer is that these Bibles won’t sit on a shelf, but that our kids will OPEN them, READ them, and experience for themselves that God’s Word is truly ALIVE & ACTIVE!

🔥🌿 How would you react if you saw a burning bush that wasn’t burning up?!?!😲

This Sunday, our Rez Nursery Kids learned about Moses and the Burning Bush! We asked each of them how they would react if THEY saw a bush on fire but not burning up and their adorable responses were priceless! 😂❤️

The time we spend teaching our littlest Rez Kids about God is always so precious. Little hearts are learning BIG truths about a BIG God! 💛

🏰 What’s a wall in YOUR life that only God can knock down?

This Sunday in Rez Kids, we learned about Joshua and the walls of Jericho—and how Joshua trusted God even when His instructions didn’t seem to make sense.

Then we made it personal.

With their own LEGO walls our kids and took time to pray, asking God to show them something in their lives they need His help to overcome. They wrote it on one of their LEGO blocks, and then—just like the Israelites—marched around it seven times.

On the seventh time, they blew the horn… and the walls came DOWN! 📯💥

It was more than knocking down LEGOs. It was an act of FAITH.

Our Rez Kids are learning that whatever wall stands in front of them—fear, worry, anger, doubt, or a situation that feels impossible—they can pray, trust God, and believe that the same God who helped Joshua at Jericho is still able to help them today.

Because some walls are too big for us to knock down on our own…but NO wall is too big for God. 🙌🏽
