News from the Pumpkin Farm: The pumpkins are turning orange! The crop is looking beautiful and plentiful.

Youth dedicated 2 whole hours of their own time to help begin painting the Children’s Church room last night. These kids are something to be proud of; not only did they work really hard, but they did so joyfully. Be sure to give them some praise and encouragement when you see them next! 1 wall down, 3 to go!

It’s Throwback Thursday once again! Today we are looking to the 1960’s, when the land where Andrew Church sat was purchased by 17 local businessmen. They decided to turn the space into the current Houston Lake Country Club (opened 1966). Guess who had to move? Yup! Andrew Church and what was left of the recreation area. The park was closed and Andrew moved from the left orange circle to the right orange circle. The small church building was added onto once it was moved.

Does anyone out there have any photos of the church building being moved? Or, perhaps once it was moved, but before it was added onto?
