This Sunday:
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
This Sunday we have a one off Sunday before we begin our Summer series: Psummer in the Psalms. Today is Trinity Sunday. It’s a special opportunity to reflect just who it is that we worship! All of our lessons involve the Trinity, and in our Gospel lesson, Jesus commands us to do something that requires trust. We need to trust the Triune God. We already do it with the big things. Why not with the small things too? Thankfully God gives us a reason to trust him! Come find out what that is! I can’t wait to see you all this Sunday!

Yes, you: An evangelism model for anyone, anywhere On Tuesday, June16, at 6:30 PM at Ascension Lutheran Church, Aaron Wakeman will share the evangelism model that he has used to train hundreds of evangelists - average lay people like you and me. He will offer encouragement and practical tools to help us remove the stigma, guilt, and fear surrounding evangelism. And by God’s grace, you will leave the session ready to be good news tellers in your lives and communities. Aaron has been actively involved in mission work since 2004, when he and his wife, Cora, moved to Wuhan, China, to be evangelists and church planters. He is now the Executive Director of Friends Network, a role he has held since 2018. Friends Network is a WELS-affiliated mission agency that recruits, trains, sends and supports missionaries around the world This event will be at Ascension in Rochester (2207 11 Ave SE).
