None of us are perfect. We will make mistakes, and at times, we will be hurt by others. Yet God calls us to continue building good relationships and to represent His love wherever we go.
How do we respond when someone treats us wrongly?
What should we do when someone hurts us?
How can we maintain healthy relationships when people are imperfect?
The Word of God is our manual for living. It teaches us how to respond to others, even when we are hurt or treated unfairly. Jesus teaches us to treat others the way we would want to be treated.
People who are wounded may sometimes wound others. But God wants to work in us before He changes the people around us. Instead of focusing only on what others need to change, we can ask God, “Lord, what do You want to change in me?”
Correction should come through humility, love, and grace—not condemnation. Before we point out someone else's faults, we need to examine our own hearts and allow God to transform us.
A healthy Kingdom relationship means choosing restoration over retaliation, forgiveness over bitterness, humility over pride, and love over condemnation.
Our goal is not merely to look like Christians inside the church, but to be the best representatives of God's love outside the church—in our homes, workplaces, friendships, and everyday relationships.
