The biggest mistake I ever made in my life was when I backslid on the Lord for seven years.

I got saved when I was 10, but growing up I wanted to fit in with the crowd. Each day, month, and year I would grow further away from God. To be honest with you, there was pleasure in sin for a while, but it was short lived. I became empty, miserable, and like the prodigal son, I found myself in the pigpen of life.

Thank God, on a Sunday morning I went to church and before the preacher started to preach, I found myself at the altar repenting and asking God to take me back.

Thank God, He DID!

I put this on Facebook before 12 years ago, but I felt I needed to share this for somebody.

You haven't gone so far that God can't reach you. He loves you no matter what you have done. Go to Him, Call on Him, Talk to Him. He will welcome you home and wrap His loving arms around you.

He did it for me and He will do it for you.
