Buidling a Wrestling Community for Kingdom Impact by Infusing LIFE into leaders around the world.

There is a growing crisis impacting the world of sports, the Church, and leadership today. Each weekend, the brokenness within the sports community is on full display—especially in wrestling, where athletes often measure their worth by wins, rankings, and performance. The culture is largely transactional and outcome-driven. At the same time, the Church is facing mounting challenges in living out t

he Great Commission and making committed disciples. Meanwhile, leaders across all arenas are battling burnout, moral failures, and isolation. These realities are what led to the founding of SportsLife Leadership. We believe that wrestling—and all sports—were created by God for His glory. God invites us to compete with joy, freedom, and purpose. He desires that His children recognize the wonder and beauty found on the wrestling mat, and that through this sport, they would cultivate values such as discipline, authenticity, generosity, and wholehearted passion. When leaders in the wrestling world are supported, equipped, and protected, they can step into the fullness of their calling and lead with confidence, character, and faith. Our vision is to see coaches, athletes, and influencers in wrestling redefine what it means to win—not simply by the scoreboard, but by how they honor and glorify God in every match, every practice, and every relationship. We dream of turning wrestling rooms, gyms, and tournament venues into spaces of worship, where hearts are transformed and God’s name is lifted high. By investing in wrestling leaders who are passionate and spiritually grounded, we believe God will bring lasting change—one athlete, one coach, one mat at a time. Together, we will witness His transformative power move through the wrestling community and beyond.

Every leader points somewhere. Make sure it's the right way.

Faith forward leadership doesn't create followers of you, it points them to Him.

That's the calling.

You can't coach the fruit of the Spirit into someone.

It is a gift, when we receive the Holy Spirit through our faith in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Leaders — walk in the Spirit, so that others will know whose you are by the fruit.

Every wrestler knows affliction. The cut weight. The losses. The grind nobody sees.

But Paul doesn't just tell us to endure it, he tells us how with joy in what's coming, patience in the pain, and prayer that keeps us close to the Father.

That's not just a mindset for the mat, but for life.

Where do you need to apply this today: hope, patience, or prayer?

Drop it in the comments.

Since giving his life to Christ, one word kept coming up: patience.

Not the "everything happens instantly" kind but the kind that trusts God's timing over your own.

And right behind it is Joy. The joy of sharing the gospel. The joy of pouring into others.

That's the mark of heart transformation. Not just what changes in you but what starts flowing out of you.

What's God changed in you since you gave your life to Him? Drop it below. 👇

Freedom isn't the finish line it's just the start..

Paul didn't say Christ set you free so you could start earning either. He said stand firm. (Galatians 5:1)

Too many leaders are still living like they've got something to prove, checking boxes, watching the scoreboard, trying to earn what's already been won.

Christ already secured the victory on the cross. Your job isn't to earn it. Your job is to stand in it and lead like it.

Stop striving. Start standing. Live free.

Some days the fight feels far from over. But here's the truth this verse anchors us to: the outcome was decided at the cross and confirmed at the empty tomb. Death has no final say over anyone who belongs to Jesus.

If that's good news you needed today, share this with someone who needs it too or drop a comment and let us know what victory God has brought you through.

"Even when I mess up, I know God is always with me." 🙌

That's what freedom actually looks like. It is not the absence of struggle, but a Savior who never walks away.

Christ did not just forgive our sins, He broke the power of death over our lives. For good!

Taye reminds us that this freedom isn't reserved for people who have it all figured out. It's for the ones who are still learning to walk in it, one day at a time.

So we want to hear from you: what's the biggest change in your life since coming to Christ?

Drop it in the comments: your story might be exactly what someone else needs to hear today. 👇

One of the hardest lessons to learn for an athlete, a coach, and a leader is that weakness isn't the enemy of calling. It is the very place God chooses to show up strongest.

If you're carrying something today that feels like a limitation, a setback, or a place you feel unqualified, don't hide it.

Bring it to Him.

His grace is enough, and His power gets made perfect right there.
