Thank you to everyone who came for our Baked Potato and Salad Lunch on March 15. This was a fundraiser for our Middle School and High School students to attend Summer Camp. Many thanks to those who prepared the food and to the youth who helped set up and and clean up.

Our Youth Group decorated valentine cookies for the Sunday School members. It was fun to watch them develop new colors and new creations of cookies.

Our Youth Group unpacked the variety of items needed to create their Homeless Care Kits. Thank you to everyone from Sunset Hills Christian Church who donated items.

Many thanks to everyone who has helped with the Homeless Awareness Project by providing needed supplies for our Youth Group Service Project. We still have need for new socks, gloves, individual applesauce, lip balm and handkerchiefs. Call 788-5600 if you can help.

September will be Youth Awareness Month with our youth group participating in morning worship each Sunday and a special Sunday, Sept. 29th. Come be a part of this special time.

The youth group (Alex Williams, Randy Ford, Makayla Williams, Kaydence Ford and sponsor Anne Porter) sold hot dogs, smoked sausage, chicken salad sandwiches, desserts and drink to those attending the "Christmas in July" event on July 20. Thank you to those who donated the plentiful amount of desserts and to Darlene Johnson for providing the food. Thank you to the kitchen crew who helped prepare the orders: Darlene, Elsie Jones, and Joyce Wood.

Sunday members of our youth group (Alex, Randy, Makayla and Emily, Jim and Anne) will be headed out to McGregor Mountain Lodge in Estes Park for their own sabbatical. We pray for safe travels and may this time of renewal and recreation bring you closer to your creator as you are among the beauty that he created. In Jesus name, Amen.
