GOD IS A FRIEND TO
THE FRIENDLESS

John 15:18-19

If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

Jesus was perfect.

Yet He was rejected, mocked, criticized, and eventually crucified.

If the world opposed Him, why are we surprised when living for God makes some people uncomfortable?

Not everyone will celebrate your convictions.

Some will call holiness legalism.
Some will call separation extreme.
Some will misunderstand your standards.

That's the cost of following a Savior who was never accepted by the crowd.

Be careful when your greatest goal becomes being liked by everyone.

A disciple is not called to fit in.
A disciple is called to stand out.

"Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets."
— Luke 6:26

Seek God's approval more than people's applause.

Because the same crowd that praises you today may reject you tomorrow.
