Sometimes God will give you an assignment that makes you weep because you know the weight of what He is asking you to carry.
Early Tuesday morning around 4:30 a.m., I found myself wailing, crying out in worship, and speaking in my holy language as the Spirit of God spoke deep into my spirit:
“He sent His Word to heal.”
I asked, “But Lord, I’ve never gone through this before. How will they listen to me?”
Again, His response came with surgical precision:
“He sent His Word to heal.”
This morning, while meditating on Psalm 107:20 (KJV): “He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.”
I laser-focused on those first four words:
“He sent His Word…”
Not my word.
Not my experience.
Not my qualifications.
His Word.
The Hebrew meaning paints a picture with intentionality—a release of an agent toward a specific target, carrying words strategically designed to accomplish an intended purpose.
And suddenly, I understood:
God doesn’t need me to have lived their story. He needs me to carry His Word to them.
The assignment may be heavy, but His Word heals.
His Word delivers.
His Word accomplishes what He sends it to do.
Speak, Lord. 🕊
