Today our Refuge Little League children experienced the story of Jesus washing His disciples’ feet and learned that true greatness comes from serving others with love. 👣❤️🙏

There’s something so special about the way little ones experience church 💛

Today, we opened with singing and our “Welcome to Church” clap calling each child by name, one by one.
“Welcome to church 👏👏👏👏 Hello, [name]!”

And just like that, the room lit up.

Smiles got bigger. Eyes sparkled. Some waved, some danced, some just beamed as they heard their name. It may seem simple, but moments like this are powerful.

For our littles, this isn’t just a song it’s belonging.
It tells them:
✨ “You are seen.”
✨ “You are loved.”
✨ “This is your place.”

When children feel safe, known, and celebrated, their hearts open ready to learn, ready to grow, ready to love being in God’s house.

We’re not just teaching Bible stories…
We’re helping them fall in love with church. 🌱

🌱 Children’s Church - Home Note – Week 1 🌱

Theme: Growing in God’s Word
Lesson: The Parable of the Sower

Dear Parents,

Today your child learned about The Parable of the Sower (Matthew 13). We talked about how God’s Word is like a seed, and our hearts are like the soil. When we listen to God and follow Him, His Word can grow big and strong in our hearts!

Main Point:
🌟 “God’s Word grows in my heart!”

What We Did Today:
- Heard a simple Bible story about seeds and soil
- Used hands-on props (dirt, rocks, seeds)
- Planted our own seed to take home 🌱

Ask Your Child:
- “What helps your seed grow?” (water, sun, care)
- “How can we grow God’s Word in our hearts?” (pray, listen, be kind)

At-Home Activity:
Help your child care for their seed this week. As it grows, remind them:

Just like the plant grows, God is helping YOU grow too!

Simple Prayer to Practice:
“Dear God, help my heart grow your Word. Amen.”
