We may not bow down to statues, but that doesn’t mean we’re free from idols. In this series, we’ll look at the Old Testament struggle with idolatry and discover how easily we can place our hope, trust, and attention in something or someone other than God. Because sometimes the biggest idols aren’t the things we worship openly... they’re the things we quietly believe we need in order to be okay.

We can know how to sit in church, say the right things, sing the songs and still have a heart that is far from Him.

Augustine of Hippo helped the early Church put words around some of Christianity's biggest questions...from evil and human brokenness to grace, salvation, and the restless human heart. As Rome declined, Augustine reminded Christians not to confuse the success of an earthly city with the Kingdom of God...a reminder that challenges us today to examine where we place our identity, hope, security, and ultimate allegiance.

On Wednesdays this fall we’re diving into the book of Philemon and tackling a question every believer has to wrestle with:

How do we handle conflict as Christians?

We will explore Paul’s framework for reconciliation, forgiveness, and living in unity with other believers. And this isn’t just about studying the Bible...it’s about growing in God’s Word together, having deeper conversations, and building meaningful relationships with others in our church.
