You don’t have to be on campus to grow with MWI.

Our online courses are designed for women in every season of life who want biblical training that fits into a full week. With weekly modules, you’ll have structure to keep moving forward and flexibility to complete the work on your schedule.

This fall, online students will trace the story and themes of the Old Testament, receive biblical encouragement for parenting, and think practically about hospitality as a way of loving and serving others. You’ll gain biblical understanding, practical application, and encouragement for your own life and ministry—right where you are.

Join us online this fall.

There is something special about learning, shoulder to shoulder with other women who love the Lord and His Church!

This fall, MWI on-campus courses invite women to slow down, open Scripture, ask good questions, and grow alongside other women who are seeking to know God and serve faithfully. Whether you are learning the foundations of theology, practicing how to study the Bible, or reflecting on what God is teaching through the FTC National Conference Women's Pre-Confernece with Nancy Guthrie, these courses are designed to help truth move from the classroom into everyday life and ministry.

You’ll receive biblical instruction, practical tools, encouragement from your instructor, and the gift of learning in community.

Come join us on campus this fall.

😍How did you hear about MWI?
I visited the Midwestern booth at TGCW24. After researching Midwestern online, I found MWI. As a ministry wife and leader in local church women’s ministry, I felt like I needed training that I didn’t know where to find… until I found MWI!

📖Which courses were particularly impactful to you and why?
Hermeneutics 1 and 2 were particularly impactful for me. Learning how to study God’s Word for myself and others was life changing. I am so excited when I begin to study a new book of the Bible now!

💪How did MWI courses equip you?
MWI’s courses gave me space to dig into God’s Word, theology, and spiritual disciplines in a way that challenged me while building my confidence. The homework and discussions stretched me and created opportunities to share what I was learning, as well as learn from others who were walking this journey too.

📣What would you tell another woman interested in taking an MWI course?
I would say “Do it!!” As a mom and ministry wife who’s life is very full, I can say MWI is one of the best investments I have made in myself and my family. The things I was learning would spill into my conversations with my husband, children, and friends. The Lord has grown me and given me new ministry dreams during this process. This season has been precious to me. My love for Jesus and His Church has grown. Praise God!

😍How did you hear about MWI?
I heard about MWI through my husband who attends Midwestern online for Biblical Counseling.

📖Which courses were particularly impactful to you and why?
I enjoyed all of the classes offered. Hermeneutics was probably my favorite because it shows you how to read and study your Bible in a deeper, more meaningful way. I also appreciated how these courses were geared specifically toward women and women’s ministry.

💪How did MWI courses equip you?
I would say the MWI courses helped equipped me by simply giving me a deeper understanding of the Bible and has helped me grow in my walk with God. Serving in youth ministry and leading Bible studies, the courses have equipped me to be a better leader.

📣What would you tell another woman interested in taking an MWI course?
I’d say these classes would be good if you don’t want a full degree but are still interested in learning more. The classes are very manageable to complete even while working full time.

😍How did you hear about MWI?
When we toured the Midwestern campus before my husband started his MDiv, the counselor was telling me how there was a Women’s program and that I could take these classes. I knew almost immediately that I wanted to!

📖Which courses were particularly impactful to you and why?
I really enjoyed my Hermeneutics and Prayer courses. The COMA method that we learned in Hermeneutics for studying the Bible, was extremely helpful to me. It was things I've always known to do but I just needed direction on how to use them and with having that, I've really deepened my understanding of the Bible. Prayer really helped me to be more confident in my prayer life, and it also helped hold me accountable with praying. I'll never forget when I read the course reading and read "Jesus was busy too and he still prayed". That's something that will always stick with me when I feel too "busy" to pray and I try to just brush it off.

💪How did MWI courses equip you?
My heart is truly in women's ministry and building up that community. We move a lot for my husband's job, and I know what it's like to start over again and to need a place to fit in and feel like you belong. I really feel like these courses equipped me so that I can deepen my faith to be in a place to not just help me and my relationship with God, but also to hopefully help other women one day who really need a community to belong to and a good direction to go in.

📣What would you tell another woman interested in taking an MWI course?
I would say 100% go for it! There's never going to be a "good" time, so just jump right in! It's worth it and you're worth it to do this for you.

1 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. 3 For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, 4 in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
