As we stated in the ministry’s e-Newsletter on Monday, we would like to invite you to join all of us here at Loved to Love in praying as the Church of the Nazarene’s General Assembly will likely take up resolutions today that will directly affect the ministry of Loved to Love Outreach and Loved to Love Church of the Nazarene.

We hope this message finds you well and filled with as much joy as we have experienced over the past five days as we have slowly rolled out the announcement, we finally get to share with you today!

Today, June 5, 2023, we are thrilled to announce the biggest change to ever happen in the almost eighteen years of the combined ministry of Love Wins.:LGBT. Trinity Family Midtown Church of the Nazarene, and the Loved to Love Resourcing Conference.

With that said, drumroll please…

We are overjoyed to announce that as of June 1, 2023, Love Wins.:LGBT, Trinity Family Midtown Church of the Nazarene, and the Loved to Love Conference are now…

Loved to Love: Church ∙ Outreach ∙ Conference

Here is why we are making this change and what this change means to our combined ministry…

After much prayer, reflection, research and consultation, we believe that the names Love Wins.:LGBT and Trinity Family Midtown Church of the Nazarene have served their purpose so as we move into a new era of ministry, we believe now is the time for a new identity that better reflects our core values and mission to make Christlike disciples in the LGBTQ+ community, equip Wesleyan-Holiness Churches to make Christlike disciples in the LGBTQ+ community, and explains our primary focus of doing such work in our Midtown, Kansas City location as we seek to make Christlike disciples there.

We believe the name Loved to Love helps us to further embody and explain our commitment to the Scriptural call to love as Christ has loved us (1 John 4:19) while also underscoring both the connectedness and individuality of all three vital aspects of our work.

Although all three ministries combined will have one singular group name each ministry also now has its own logo and ministry fund meaning those who contribute regularly to our work can rest assured that their dedicated contribution goes to the specific work they intend it to go to.

As a result of all the changes we have mentioned so far Love Wins.:LGBT will now be known as Loved to Love Outreach and will use purple heavily in its branding and related content.

Trinity Family Midtown Church of the Nazarene will now be known as Loved to Love Church of the Nazarene and will use red heavily in its branding and related content.

The Loved to Love Resourcing Conference will keep its name but gets a new logo and will use green heavily in its branding and related content.

The overall entity logo will combine all three colors in its branding and related content.

A full presentation on these new logos and why the colors red, purple, and green were chosen will come within the next two weeks we share more updates on the effects of our new identity and how it will all work. (Yes, during General Assembly. You have to have something to read in the down time during all the activities, right? 😉)

We understand that change can bring questions, and we aim to address them thoroughly during this roll out.

At the end of the next two weeks of explanatory updates we will provide a summary to ensure everyone is up to date.

Please note that the complete transition to our new name will take some time. We estimate that the full transition will be completed by July 1st as the various things required to make such a complete transition takes differing times.

Finally, we want to emphasize that no matter our name, one thing will remain constant: our unwavering belief that Love. Always. Wins.

Thank you for your unwavering support and participation in our ministry. Together, let us embrace this exciting chapter and work hand in hand to create a world filled with brand new Christlike disciples!

Oh, and remember…

Love. Always. Wins.

We are thrilled to share some incredible news with you today, inspired by Isaiah 43:19: "See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland." God is indeed doing a new thing in our midst!

We are delighted to announce the launch of a “new thing” in the life of Love Wins: LGBT, Trinity Family Midtown Church of the Nazarene, and the Loved to Love Resourcing Conference. Starting June 1st, we embark on a journey that we believe to be God’s will for all three of these important ministries.

It’s our hope that this “new thing” shows gives clarity to the work we do by focusing on centeredness, calling, competency, and charitability.

We recognize that change can be both exhilarating and challenging, and we seek God's guidance and wisdom every step of the way.

Your prayers have always been a vital source of strength and encouragement and so, during this time, we humbly ask for your prayers and continued support as we approach the launch day of this exciting “new thing.”

You may have noticed that our voices have been quieter over the past nine months, but please know that our silence does not signify the completion of our work. On the contrary, it signifies a period of intentional reflection and preparation. We wanted to ensure that our next chapter is written with all the necessary tools, rooted in love, and equipped to foster clarity and rootedness in the Gospel.

Once again, we express our heartfelt gratitude for your continued support, love, and prayers. Your presence and encouragement have been instrumental in our past endeavors, and we trust that they will be equally significant as we embrace this new and exciting “thing.”

See you June 1st

Oh, and remember…
Love. Always. Wins.

With love and anticipation,

Hi Church Family,

We love you and hope you are staying safe and healthy. You have been in our prayers.

Pastor Anderson and I have been monitoring the news along with receiving updates from individuals and given the current moment, we feel it is best not to meet in person tonight and instead to meet virtually.

Several associated with our church have been sick and some are still sick and new illnesses have emerged.

We do not want to risk exposing anyone to an illness intentionally or unintentionally and we will continue to monitor the news and any information we receive to make the best decisions to keep everyone safe.

A link will be sent to the Church Chat and will also be sent to those not on messenger.
We miss seeing everyone in person and thank your for your patience as we navigate the ever-changing and unknowns of Omicron and seasonal illnesses.

We love you, stay safe and stay tuned. Please keep us posted on how you’re doing and if you need anything.

-Pastors Sarah & Anderson
