Chief Darryl Forte with our Pastor John McWhorter!

Met a nice gentleman in the parking lot of the John Knox Village Thrift Shop today. I was there to purchase a few books for a library that we’re starting for staff at the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.

Pastor John McWhorter shared that he’s pastor of Miracle Valley Church near Linwood and Van Brunt. He’s also involved in care for individuals with developmental disabilities.

He truly enjoys serving our community. Just another example of a caring and contributing resident of our community.
