This week, North Oak Collective will remind us of a great hymn of the faith, "The Solid Rock," which has endured for 202 years-- helping us connect these timeless truths with the Saints who've gone before us. In the days of shifting sands and winds of change, Christ is our solid rock on whom we stand. Modern song writers from Sovereign Grace Music have given us this new tune taken from Psalm 62, "My Soul Will Wait." Providentially, its text also reminds us that Jesus is our solid rock.

North Oak Collective 4.0 ( 's music team) met in the home of Worship Ministry Dept. faculty, .fuller.swain and , for an end-of-year fellowship which included biscuits n gravy and the gift of words to our departing members.

Stay tuned for North Oak's 5 year anniversary celebrations next year.

It's such a blessing to lead the faculty, staff, and student body in music for corporate worship on our campus reach week. It's all a part of how we are training .

Our 2025-2026 Worship Ministries' Ambassador (Internship) programs, for undergrad and grad students, came to an end this week. Student-interns in the areas of choir and Av/Tech (chapel) fulfilled a year's worth of duties and assignments that provided opportunities to gain (and enhance) valuable skills directly related to local- church music and worship ministry. The team-work, dedication, and humility with which these students have served is both inspiring and remarkable. Tonight, students gathered in the home of Dean .fuller.swain and Prof. to reflect on the year and receive words of appreciation for jobs well done.

Proud of the music students who participated in the Spring Recital--the morning after our big Spring Concert & Hymn Sing. Whew! These students have worked hard, but we are most pleased with how they (each) tune their own hearts, even in the midst of busyness. Pursuing musical studies alongside Bible and theological classes isn't easy. But they do it for God's glory, for their own good, and for His Church.
