We didn't go live on Facebook, but I hope you will still enjoy going back and hearing the beautiful testimonies through music, prayer, and specifically today through the life of Ricky Duarte, who shared his life and testimony with us.

Just a few years ago, this family started a team-- seeds that would grow to become Eden Church of the Nazarene, an intentionally intercultural family. Family is the only way to describe how this church has developed. This family, every one of them, has brought life to this church by being Jesus in worship, in life, in love, and in truth. They have connected with the community and we dearly love them.

The time has come, God has unexpectedly called them to a new chapter. If you have a moment, they will surely share that story with you, but as it is, Eden is indeed sad to see them go, but hopeful that they have always, from the very beginning, been very in tune with God's leading. And God has brought Eden to this point and has beautiful things for both the Aguilar family and those of us at Eden. When family moves away, however, they do not cease to be family. The love and care remains.

As the Aguilars have been meaningful in the lives of many at Eden, in the community, on the district and beyond, I'd challenge you to take a moment and share in the comments something about each of the Aguilars you know-- a story, a prayer, a thought. Let's send them off with our love and blessings.

Those who would like to say goodbye in person, Pastor Danilo's last Sunday is this coming Sunday.

HE IS ALIVE! These photos are from the many activities we did around Easter, but they are signs of what we declare every week and every day of our lives. He is alive and His life is proclaimed through these moments. Like we said yesterday, you are not a mummy!

A special shoutout to Addisen and Grace for declaring this truth in their lives through baptism! We love you and are proud of your testimony.

"I believe... This Church is still alive and well. This Gospel truth I live to tell." We sang these words on Sunday along with this intentionally intercultural family called Eden. Last week we proclaimed HE'S ALIVE! And this week we declare that He's alive, but because He's alive, we too are alive.

It's not easy to believe when you saw Him die. It's not easy to have faith when our hopes are dashed, or when we can't understand what has happened or what is to come. We like to condemn Thomas for his doubt, but Pastor Danilo preached this beautiful truth: Jesus doesn't condemn your doubts. He invites them. He showed Thomas His scars and said, "My wounds are real. I understand." God wants your honest questions, your struggles, your scientific mind—all of it.

As we walk in the resurrection, and as you walk through your daily lives, our challenge as a church family and as individuals is to remember how Christ has lived that resurrection in and through us, and to dream with Him about how He will continue to take our doubting, downtrodden, anxious selves and create beautiful, strong relationships in and through us from the moments we remember His touch in our lives-- from the moments we remember that we have seen Him when we were torn, and we see Him alive in us today.

In what areas of your life are you merely existing rather than truly living? How can you allow God's life to enter into those places today? What does that look like?

"Your identity and our worth is made whole in God's presence, not by what we do. What we do is the result. What Christ does through us is a result of his presence. It's not you earning his presence." - Pastor Amber

"I was blind but now I see." Five simple words that changed everything. The healed man didn't have theological training. He couldn't explain the mechanics of his miracle. His parents abandoned him, the religious leaders interrogated him, and his community doubted him. Yet he held firm to one undeniable truth: his encounter with Jesus transformed his life.

Your testimony doesn't need to be complicated or polished. You don't need to "know" everything or have all the answers. That was the biggest mistake the Pharisees made! What you do need is honesty about who you were before Jesus and who you're becoming because of Him. When doubt creeps in or others challenge your faith, return to your simple truth. What has Jesus done in your life that no one can take away?

Reflection: What is your "I was blind but now I see" statement? Write it down and return to it when your faith wavers.

"As you are going, make disciples." This Sunday we were reminded that mission isn't just for those crossing borders—it's for all of us in our daily walk. We commissioned the Encarnacion family as they prepare to serve in Costa Rica, but their calling reflects our own: wherever we live, work, study, and play, we are sent to be Christ's light.

The Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20) isn't just a command to "go"—in the original text, it's "as you are going." Mission is woven into our Christian walk. Your neighbors, coworkers, and community are your mission field right now.

What a beautiful time we had to embrace this family, to cover them in prayer both during the service and during the children's time. We were led in worship, prayer and scripture in English and in Spanish by people of all ages, all living expressions of a called community.

How is God calling you to make disciples in your going today?
