A heartfelt THANK YOU to Blue Ridge Presbyterian Church for hosting Heartland Presbytery’s September 1st Stated Meeting!

We celebrated milestone ordination anniversaries, honored pastors who retired during the past year, enjoyed an ice cream social with music from a barbershop quartet, and shared in meaningful worship and Communion.

We also approved the minimum terms of call for Ministers of Word and Sacrament and Commissioned Ruling Elders and heard about exciting opportunities throughout the presbytery. Our offering raised $602.11 for the Leadership Vitality Work Group.

Dale and Greg joined the Belton congregation today for their final service of Worship. Preaching what will be the last sermon in the Belton sanctuary, Dale reminded those who traveled to mark the occasion that the many seeds of faith planted here throughout their long history will continue to bloom and bear fruit in the world.

Together, participants will engage questions about the new things God is doing in congregations as they navigate uncertain futures. Through presentations, conversation, worship, and shared meals, this event offers an opportunity to deepen theological reflection and imagine faithful ministry for the church today.
