Compassion at the crossroads 🙏🏻

Pastor Bill reminded us on Sunday —
Even in the middle of unimaginable suffering, Jesus chose compassion.

In Gospel of John 19:25–27, while carrying the weight of the world, He paused to care for His mother—entrusting her to John.

That’s who He is.
A Savior who sees.
A Savior who cares.

No matter how dark it feels, God still brings light.

A midweek reminder from Pastor Bill’s message on Sunday:

In the garden, Jesus cried, “Let this cup pass from Me.”

It wasn’t just about the pain. It was about the weight of separation from the Father.
The true cost of sin is separation… and He chose to take that on for us.

Because of Jesus, we are never separated from God.

Last week, Pastor Bill spoke from 📖 Mark 12:28–34 about the greatest commandment. When asked, Jesus answered simply: Love God and love your neighbor as yourself.

Loving God means being honest with Him and allowing Him to shape our hearts. Growth begins with honestly assessing our relationship with God, allowing Him to correct us, and choosing habits that help us grow like reading Scripture, talking with God, and surrounding ourselves with other believers.

Reminder: Loving God and loving others is only possible with God’s help. 🙏

Jesus knew that going to Jerusalem meant facing betrayal, suffering, and the cross…
But He went anyway.

He had to go to His Jerusalem.

Jerusalem represents that unavoidable place or step God is calling us to in order to fulfill His will for our lives — even when it’s hard, uncomfortable, or painful.

Palm Sunday reminds us:
Obedience isn’t always easy… but it’s always purposeful.

What a sweet, joy-filled night at our Galentine’s gathering last Saturday! 💕

We laughed, enjoyed delicious food, and most importantly, celebrated the greatest love of all — Christ’s love for us. There is something so special about women coming together in faith, friendship, and encouragement.

We are so thankful for every woman who came and made the evening beautiful. 💐 Your presence, warmth, and hearts for the Lord made it such a meaningful time.
