🚨 FINAL CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS! 🚨

This Saturday, we have the privilege of partnering with Birth It Forward's Mother’s Closet, a beautiful ministry that provides free clothing and essential items for mothers, babies, and families in our community.

We still need volunteers to help sort clothing, welcome guests, connect with other volunteers, and help create a warm and encouraging environment for new moms and families.

Whether you can give a few hours or stay for the event, your presence can make a meaningful difference.

We are also still accepting donations, especially:
👶 New or gently used baby clothing (sizes 0–2T)
🍼 Diapers (sizes 3 & 4)
🧻 Baby wipes
💜 Feminine care products

Donations can be dropped off at the church throughout the month or brought on the day of the event.

When we share our resources and our time, we help create a community where families are supported, welcomed, and cared for.

"Celebrating Father's Day" with Kelley Hunt

On Father's Day we remember those unique individuals that affect our lives so deeply, dearly and imperfectly, but who we cherish for who they were. For some, it can be a happy celebration of Love, remembrance and gratitude, but for others it can bring the ache of loss, separation and longing for the things not received. But, when we look at Father’s Day from a spiritual perspective and view the Divine as a balance of both masculine and feminine principles, perhaps we can honor both our earthly Fathers and the Divinity within ourselves.

Juneteenth is both a celebration of freedom and a reminder that freedom must be protected, expanded, and made real in every generation.

My father wrote, “Oppressed people cannot remain oppressed forever.” Today, we honor the ancestors who endured, resisted, and hoped. And we recommit ourselves to the ongoing work of justice, dignity, and creating the Beloved Community.

This Sunday, Rev. Anne takes a fresh look at what it means to create a bigger table: not a table without boundaries, but one shaped by belonging, sacred worth, and spiritual maturity. Because in the end, we don’t just go to church. We are the church.
