Mary’s Episcopal Church (SJM) are based on the values of our Christian gospel and in our Baptismal Covenant. The SJM will work to remedy social justice issues. The issues involve the lack of basic rights for all people and racism in all its forms. Those issues, both enumerated and not enumerated, exist in the following areas: criminal justice system, policing, economic inequality, medical care, ho
using, tenants’ rights, education, militarism, elections, LGBT rights, climate change, and others. The SJM will focus on the issues in the KC Metro area, but that does not exclude state and national issues."
