🙌🏽 HOW EXCELLENT IS YOUR NAME! 🙌🏽

Some things you can explain.
Some things you can describe.
But when you start thinking about the goodness of God… sometimes the only word that fits is:

EXCELLENT. 💙💛

Excellent in the way He loves us.
Excellent in the way He keeps us.
Excellent in the way He provides.
Excellent when He opens the door.
Excellent when He closes the one we didn’t need to walk through.
Excellent when we understand what He’s doing…
and STILL excellent when we don’t. 🙌🏽

God doesn’t have to do another thing to prove who He is.

When we look back over where He brought us from, what He protected us from, what He carried us through, and the prayers He answered that nobody else even knew we prayed…

WHAT AN EXCELLENT GOD WE SERVE! 😮‍💨🙌🏽🔥

So today, before you ask God for the next thing, take a moment and thank Him for what He’s already done.

You’re careful about who you let into your home.

But are you careful about what you let into your MIND? 👀

Every thought doesn’t deserve your attention.
Every fear doesn’t deserve to be entertained.
Every negative thought doesn’t deserve a permanent address.

This week, be intentional about what you allow yourself to dwell on.

If it doesn’t produce peace, faith, growth, or gratitude… don’t feed it. 🙌🏽

We’re excited to join Liberty Baptist Church for their Women’s Day Program, “Falling in Love with Jesus.” ❤️✝️

This will be an extra-special day of worship, fellowship, and the Word as Dr. Sharhonda Harrill brings the message during the morning service, followed by her mother, our very own Co-Pastor Sharon Bell of CDEC, during the afternoon service! 🙌🏽🌸

And let GOD handle the rest. 🙌🏽

You don’t have to defend yourself in every room. You don’t have to correct every story. You don’t have to respond to everything that has your name attached to it.

Sometimes your assignment is simply to stay faithful, stay focused, and stay at peace.

🎭✨ CALLING ALL ACTORS, SINGERS & VOLUNTEERS! ✨🎭

CDEC is preparing for our upcoming Christmas play, The Christmas Connection, and we’re looking for talented, willing, and dedicated individuals to help bring this special production to life!

Whether you enjoy acting, love to sing, or prefer helping behind the scenes, there is a place for you. Auditions will be held September 12 and October 2 from 11:45 AM–2:00 PM.

💙💛 HAPPY SEPTEMBER! 💛💙

September 1st is here! 🙌🏽

We have 30 days to be better than we were in August.

30 days to pray more.
30 days to worry less.
30 days to love harder.
30 days to forgive quicker.
30 days to grow stronger.
30 days to get closer to God.
30 days to simply DO BETTER.

We can’t go back and change August, but God has blessed us with a NEW MONTH and another opportunity. 🙌🏽

Don’t waste it comparing where you are to somebody else.

The goal is simple:

BE BETTER THAN YOU WERE YESTERDAY. 💙

September, we’re walking into you with gratitude, intention, and expectation! 🙏🏽✨

30 DAYS. LET’S MAKE THEM COUNT.

Sometimes the problem isn’t that God isn’t moving…

Maybe we just can’t SEE what He’s doing yet. 🙌🏽

There may be blessings you’ve overlooked.
Doors you haven’t noticed.
Warnings you’ve ignored.
Purpose you haven’t recognized.
And things God has been trying to show you all along.

So today, our prayer is simple:

God kept you.
