I am deeply honored—and incredibly grateful—that the anointed and gifted Hezekiah Walker will join us on May 1, 2026, at Friendship Baptist Church in Charlotte.
For nearly three years, I have labored tirelessly in the fields for Barber-Scotia College. This has not just been work—it has been a calling. Brick by brick, prayer by prayer, we have been rebuilding, restoring, and believing in what this historic institution can be once again.
There were moments of uncertainty. There were setbacks, delays, and days when the weight felt heavy. But through it all—we kept the faith.
And now… we can finally see it.
The moment that we have been working towards.

But we are not across the finish line yet.
