It was great to grab lunch and catch up with Jarred Jung after today's sports camp! He'll be with us Sunday as we gather to worship. Jarred, son of Tim Jung, is on the faculty of the East Asia School of Theology in Singapore. We provided some support for his ministry back in April as part of our surplus missions giving. His ministry trains and teaches pastors and church planters in a host of Asian countries as they take the gospel to the nations!

Coats for the City signup is underway! We'll be heading back to NYC December 3-5 to join with other NC Baptists and churches in NYC to distribute coats and share the gospel of Jesus Christ. If you would like to go or need more information, contact the church office. Also, we NEED your gently used coats!! We're collecting coats NOW at the church! From Sydney Purvis who is serving with a mission team in Johannesburg, South Africa this summer:

"A couple blocks from here on Friday a very close friend of our field partners was guned down in a gang fight. In the middle of the two gangs is a childrens park we help at twice a week. In a very spiritual dark place this is the most light we have seen in a cold basement of a church that has to unlock three doors to be able to get inside There is revival coming to Johannesburg."

Pray for Sydney and the work being done in South Africa to share the gospel of Jesus Christ!
