2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (CEB)

16 So we aren’t depressed. But even if our bodies are breaking down on the outside, the person that we are on the inside is being renewed every day. 17 Our temporary minor problems are producing an eternal stockpile of glory for us that is beyond all comparison. 18 We don’t focus on the things that can be seen but on the things that can’t be seen. The things that can be seen don’t last, but the things that can’t be seen are eternal.

Dan Truhitte’s event at Mt. Mitchell Global Methodist Church scheduled for Tuesday, May 19th has been postponed. Dan’s doctor suggested that he reschedule all upcoming events until he is doing much better. Currently there is a risk of him contracting Pneumonia. Please pray for Dan and his wife. I know you were looking forward to seeing and meeting Dan, but his health is far more important. He and I will get together soon to plan a future date.

The Mt. Mitchell Global Methodist Church Youth Group is hosting a Cinco de Mayo lunch in the Church Fellowship Building after the morning worship service this Sunday, May 3rd. The approximate starting time is 12:15 PM. The price is donations only. This is a fundraiser for our youth group. Come join us. We are located at 6001 Old Salisbury-Concord Road in Kannapolis. We’ll continue until the food runs out or until no one is eating. We hope to see you there. Yes, you are all invited.
