We kicked off our new series on Nehemiah this Sunday and had an incredible time together!

From Solomon’s Temple to Nehemiah’s burden for the walls of Jerusalem, we discovered that God specializes in restoring broken foundations and rebuilding what has been ruined.

If God can rebuild Jerusalem, He can rebuild families, marriages, churches, ministries, and cities.

The best is yet to come.

TOMORROW NIGHT FELLOWSHIP

Church fam — We’re making a small change for tomorrow evening and are looking forward to gathering together for a Movie Night at the TAG Building from 6:30–8:30 PM!

We’ll be watching David, and there will also be popcorn, games, and lobby activities throughout the evening. Whether you come for the movie or simply for fellowship, we’d love to have you there.

Also, don’t forget about Wednesday afternoon prayer from 12–1 PM. These prayer gatherings have been such a powerful time together as we focus our hearts on the Bride being made ready, rooted in Revelation 19:7–8.

We’re thankful for every opportunity we have to gather together in His presence and as family. Looking forward to seeing you all Wednesday!

It was a joy to have Pastor Dustin Box and his wife Savannah this weekend at The Altar. He preached a powerful word on the Hesed of God and encouraged us to reflect the character and nature of God to the world around us.

Make plans now to join us for Pentecost Sunday on May 24th at 10am with pastors Dustin and Savannah Box. Children’s ministry from 0-5 years old will be provided.

Dustin & Savannah have backgrounds in ministry, missions, and discipleship and carry a deep love for Jesus and for raising up families who pursue God wholeheartedly. They currently serve as the South Campus Pastors at Kingdom Life Church in Maine, and we’re expectant for what the Lord has placed on their hearts to share this Sunday!

We’re excited for Grills, Games, & Good Times this Sunday May 17th right after church! ☀️

Bring meat or something for your family to grill, plus a side and/or dessert to share. If you have a grill, yard games, or drinks to bring, we’d love that too! This will be a fun time to gather, connect, and enjoy community together. 🌭

Service starts at 10 am. Children’s ministry 0-5 years old will be available during service. See you soon‼️

Make plans now to join us for Mother’s Day this Sunday, May 10th at 10 AM. We will have children’s ministry available for ages 0–5. To check in your child, please enter the church building through the doors by the staff offices.

Check-in will be available from 9:45 AM–10:15 AM.

1st–5th grade children will continue to worship with their parents in the TAG building.

We’re looking forward to celebrating all the moms and mother figures with you this Sunday!

Several weeks ago, The Altar Church was notified that a report would be released concerning the investigation into allegations made by Nancy Knopp and later circulated widely on social media. These allegations caused considerable harm to our local church and beyond. The full findings of that investigation are now available at the link below.
