Kankakee county, come out and join us this Saturday, downtown on the courthouse lawn for a fun community Easter egg hunt!
We’ll have golden eggs for special prizes hidden throughout the event, so be sure to keep an eye out for those extra surprises.
Parents, we’ve also created a special opportunity just for you, free Easter baskets will be available so you can pick one up and create a personalized basket for your kiddos to enjoy on Easter Sunday.

🚨 The K3 Salvation Army Needs Your Help! 🚨

Our Emergency Disaster Services canteen truck’s windshield has been shattered, and we are trying to find someone who can replace it as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we have not been able to reach anyone by phone.

We understand that many in our community are also dealing with storm damage and repairs. At the same time, we have another EDS team currently in Aroma Park serving meals, and we need this canteen to be mobile feeding during this time. In order to continue serving those in need, we must get the windshield fixed quickly.

If anyone knows of a local company that could fit us in, or if there is a business willing to help, please let us know. Your support will help us continue caring for our community during this time.

Hello Kankakee County community!

The Salvation Army is preparing for our annual Easter Egg Hunt on March 28th, and we would love your help. We are currently collecting individually wrapped candy donations to fill thousands of eggs for local children.

If you, your family, business, church, or organization would be interested in donating candy or helping us stuff eggs, we would be incredibly grateful for the partnership.
