WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!?
At St. John's we observe the ancient tradition of seven weeks of Advent, the days before Christmas, as was done in the ancient Christian communities.
It allows for extra time to concentrate on the promised Kingdom of God that our Lord Jesus promised when he spoke of his return, as well as his birth.
We have discovered that when we explore the true "reason for the season", we can experience a more meaningful spiritual, and less commercial Christmas.
You are invited to join us on Sunday mornings at 8:45 AM for our traditional Worship with Eucharistic, followed by coffee hour in the Fellowship Hall.
Every Sunday afternoon at 4 PM you may join us for more casual and family oriented Vespers Service in the Nave, followed by a complimentary "Soup and Sides" supper in Fellowship Hall. Each week there will be a simple craft for the kids, and lots of time to get to know one another!
Everyone is welcome to either service, regardless of your tradition.
St. John's is handicapped accessable and welcoming to all!
