Good evening friends. The HCC Board would like to share a couple updates with you. As many of you know, we honored Sue Laktash last year at camp for her many years of service as treasurer at the camp. She has served so faithfully and we can never repay her for all of her sacrifice during camp to manage the finances.
That being said, she graciously offered to serve until December 31, 2025 and we had someone in place to fill her shoes. We prayed and believed that God had someone in mind. As with God, He is never late, always on time and as of January 2026, Fay Spencer is now serving as treasurer of HCC.
Fay comes to the position with the heart of a servant and experience serving as the treasurer of her church. She also has computer skills and with Sue's help has moved many of the financial records to computer which will make all of the record keeping much easier.
Our dear friend Jim Lenaway also resigned his board position as of the end of the year. Paul Buchanan has stepped forward and is now serving on the board as a member at large.
Both of these positions were announced last year at camp and we announced anyone who may be interested in serving to reach out to a board member.
The HCC Board is always looking for people who may be interested in serving and if you feel called to serve, please reach out to a current board member or email the camp at [email protected].
The Board members will be voted on again in July at camp at the Annual Meeting.
