Highlander Camp is located just outside the town of Kane in the beautiful mountains of Northwestern Pennsylvania. Facilities include a full kitchen and dining hall, a tabernacle, dormitory housing, private rooms, a chapel, recreational areas, a pavilion and both camp and privately owned cabins. Good morning HCC friends and family. Today is Monday, June 22nd. Two weeks from Friday we will be gathering for the first service of our Family cam 2026.

This morning I am reaching out with a special prayer request. As you know, we are a seasonal camp and rely on almost totally volunteer help for the caretaking and repair needs of our camp.
I am asking each of you to pray specifically for those who work so tirelessly on the grounds to prepare them for camp. They are a group who has extensive experience and are committed to our camp. These are people who work behind the scenes and who are charged with the safety and upkeep of all the many elements of our camp. They work to clear, clean up and repair (often working in the elements) because things like trimming and cutting trees and repairing lines are not fair weather issues.

I believe that God is even now preparing the hearts and minds of everyone who will be part of our camp this year.

Good morning HCC Friends. Today is Monday, June 15th. Three weeks from Friday, we will be gathering for the first service of the 2026 HCC Family Camp.

Friends have been gathering here for 80 years to worship, connect with family and friends and celebrate the goodness of God.
I, for one, can't wait to be there with all of you as we gather to worship.

This week our prayer focus is on the leaders who will be working with our children and teens. We are so thankful for all those from the tiniest little baby through our teens that are part of the HCC family each year.

As we plan, one of the first positions we pray about filling each year is those who work with our precious children. They are the future of the church, our camp and the Kingdom work.

This year, Pastor Josh Lehman and Pastor Damien DeGolier are joining us to work with the teens. Raychele Lehman and Hannah DeGolier will be leading the children's sessions in the morning and each evening for their worship time. Rounding out our God loving and exceptionally talent team is Kylie Gillespie with our preschool group.

We are so thankful for this multi-talented group of people who love God and love children and teens. They are all an integral part of our camp family. I would ask you to pray for each of them:
1. Pray as they prepare and plan for meaningful worship experiences, games and activities and fun times for their groups.
2. Pray for them during camp: for health, energy and endurance as they serve.
3. Pray for the hearts of each child and teen who will be participating in our camp. Pray that God will meet them, their individual needs and that each one will encounter and have a meaningful experience in their spiritual journey.

Before I place the order for HCC Teeshirts and hoodies this year, I wanted to let you know that the shirts will be slightly different in their design: It will include the 80th year camping slogan as well as the theme "Anchored".

Good morning HCC Friends. Today is Monday, June 8th. Four weeks from Friday, we will be gathering for the first service of the 2026 HCC Family Camp.

Friends have been gathering here for 80 years to worship, connect with family and friends and celebrate the goodness of God.

I, for one, can't wait to be there with all of you as we gather to worship.

Our camp Pastor, Tucker Rodkey will be sharing the word with us each evening. Most of you know Tucker from his prior visits with the Painting Freedom Ministries. He has shared that his theme for this camp is "Anchored". How appropriate for our 80th year!

Leading us in worship each evening will be Pastor Josh Lehman and Hannah DeGolier. As you pray for our camp, I would share this as today's focus:

Pray for Tucker, Josh and Hannah as they prepare to share with us in the Word and worship each service. Pray for their ears to be tuned to the voice of God as He leads them in preparation. Pray for health and strength as they carry a heavy load of serving during the week.

God, we thank you for calling these young pastors and leaders to our camp. Thank you for the burden that you have placed in their hearts to be part of our HCC Family and to bring the Word and lead in worship. May your presence rest heavy on them and may our ears be open to receive what you are speaking to us through them.

Today marks the opening of the 80th season of camping at Highlander Christian Camp.

We would love to have you join us this evening at 7 pm, rain or shine, for our opening service. Pastor Ted from Living Waters will be our speaker tonight.

Celebrating 80 years of ministry here at our camp, imagine that!

Hello HCC Friends and Family. Only a little over two months until we gather for HCC Family Camp 2026.

We have some exciting plans for Family Camp and are looking forward to seeing you all there.

Opening weekend we will have a great Saturday afternoon of games. Saturday night we will be celebrating the 80th birthday of our camp. That night our Afterglow will be a birthday party complete with games, activities, an 80th birthday photo booth for your photo memory and of course, birthday cake.

Also, we are going to be having tee-shirts for our 80th birthday. To that end, we are looking for any artists who may be interested in submitting an idea for our celebration shirts.

If you are interested in submitting a drawing/idea for the tee-shirt, please send it to [email protected].

We will be posting the drawings that are submitted and you can vote online or on facebook.

The deadline for your drawing will be May 22nd.
