We're seeking volunteers to assist with snack and Bible verses, as well as walkers. Forms are on the table in the narthex in the church. Volunteers need to be signed up by May 24, 2024.

Community wide events:
All day: St. John's Episcopal Church- open for personal prayers

9:00 am: Evergreen Park-prayers focused on the military and first responders

12:00 noon: St. Callistus Catholic Church-prayers focused on non-profits, businesses, the Lutheran Home & UPMC Kane Hospital

3:30 pm: Grace Baptist Church - prayers focused on schools

7:00 pm: Kane Community Methodist Church: prayers focused on churches, the nation, and the national crisis of addiction.

We recognized Brooke Bizzak, Brynn Bizzak, Terin Boschert, and Alaina Brzezinski on Sunday during worship. They confirmed their baptism, professed their faith publicly, and expressed their desire to accept greater responsibility in the life of the church and God's commission to the world.

The confirmands made and served hot cross buns today for Palm Sunday.

Hot cross buns refers to a spiced sweet bun that is typically consumed during Lent. The bun is marked with a cross, which represents the cross on which Jesus was crucified. This serves as a reminder of his sacrifice for all.
