We are running full speed toward the launching of the Evergreen Arrows Afterschool program and are preparing for an epic fundraiser:) There will be a 3 course prime rib dinner beverages and dessert included of course! An opportunity to sponsor a child for a year and a silent auction, also great for Christmas shopping!

Although we haven't posted in awhile, please know there is a lot going on with the ministry. We were so encouraged by the Interest Group meeting regarding the after school program we are launching. There weren't as many attendees from the community of Evergreen as we would have liked to have seen, but the ones that were there seemed to share our hearts and passion for children. A lot can be done in numbers, but God keeps reminding us it isnt so much the numbers but obedient hearts.
Just today Misty and I started the cleaning and painting process in what is to be the office for her and I. The times we spend together getting our hands dirty often turn into time of reflection. The fellowship and to share in this passion and ministry together is such a blessing. As we talked, dreamed and shared our hearts about the children we have been given the privilege to serve, we realized again the after school program is SO much more than just that! It is a place we hope that each child can find hope, refuge, shelter and security even if just a little while. Our desire is to give every family and child the opportunity to take part in the Center and for them to in turn make a difference in someone else's life. We want them to be part of the change to all the injustices they see in our community and world. One person can make a huge impact, and If we can make a difference in just one life all of this will have been worth it.

Our ministry was given an honor and privilege to visit and give financially to the Four Heroes Elementary School in Lakewood, Washington the day before Thanksgiving. This school was named in honor of the four officers who lost their lives in November of 2009 to a senseless murder doing what they were called to do .....protecting their community. One of the officers was my sister, Tina DeLong Grizwold. So, you can imagine the ties my heart has for the community and school. We Were given a personal tour of the new school by Principal, John Mitchell, offered wonderful refreshments, and given shirts with the school logo. We were also given time to interact with the children...the best part! We felt so warm and invited. It too was another opportunity for continued healing for me especially. A very high percentage of these children (K- 5th grade) come from broken, struggling, low income households. A person could focus on those facts or a person could do what Principal, John Mitchell and staff focus on instead. "We don't refer to these children as high risk. We like to say they are children with hope." The words have lingered in my mind since he spoke them. We are all broken. I can't help but think of the hope our Father in Heaven gives us through Jesus Christ if we would but surrender to the One whose body was broken for us all...past, present and future. And, because He made the ultimate sacrifice, we are given the Hope for eternal life and a life well lived here now on earth. Yes! These children have hope and so do we all who know and love Jesus Christ

A church and gymnasium complex on East Evergreen Drive is being resurrected with new owners and a new vision for ministry in the heart of Evergreen.

Hello everyone! We are so excited to announce that as of September 30, 2016 Psalm 91 Ministries officially closed on our property located at 315 East Evergreen in Kalispell MT! As you can see we are making tons of progress and we are still going strong! There are a lot of exciting developments on the horizon, and if you are interested in learning more about our current and up and coming projects please join us and bring a friend! We are getting together this Saturday Oct 8 at noon for some co-laboring and food. There is painting, vacuuming, floor scraping, cleaning, pizza and great company!
