Restoration Anglican Church Eucharist Service every Sunday, 10:30am, Homewood Suites Hotel, 195 Hutton Ranch Road, Kalispell, MT

05/08/2026

Alleluia! Christ is Risen! Christ is Risen Indeed! Alleluia!

This Sunday's assigned Gospel reading is John 15:1-11, Jesus' teaching about the Vine and the Branches. Christians have struggled since the time of Christ with obedience and have often found themselves lacking. Come this Sunday and hear how we can be faithful followers of Christ as we abide in Christ and are empowered by the Divine Love that subsists between the Father and the Son.

The Collect for the Day
O God, you have prepared for those who love you such good things as surpass our understanding: Pour into our hearts such love towards you, that we, loving you in all things and above all things, may obtain your promises, which exceed all that we can desire; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

The Songs we will sing:
All Creatures of our God and King
Alleluia, Christ Our Savior
My Shepherd Will Supply My Need
Domine Deus - Taizé
Abide
God of Mercy, God of Grace

We will be worshiping 10:30 AM at 1234 Whitefish Stage Road, Kalispell.

Hope you can make it!

In the military it is very important to “get back to basics” to keep the important things like marksmanship, physical fitness, battlefield survival in the awareness of soldiers and Marines. This Sunday we are going to get back to basics, to the foundations of our reformational Anglican faith, what we believe and why we believe it, focusing on our Gospel passage, The Road to Emmaus, Luke 24:13-35 and Acts 2:42, “They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.”

We will be worshiping 10:30 AM at 1234 Whitefish Stage Road, Kalispell.

Hope to see you then!

Grace and Peace to you through our Lord Jesus Christ!
Easter is almost here!

Join us this Saturday Evening, 7:30 PM for our first celebration of The Great Vigil which is the first liturgy of Easter Day, and the conclusion to the Triduum, the celebration of the three days of Christ’s passion. The liturgy normally consists of four parts:
The Service of Light: a new fire is kindled, and from it the Paschal Candle is lit, symbolizing Christ being the light of the world. The Exsultet, an ancient song of praise, is sung as the climax of this part of the liturgy. We will begin this part of the service outside and process into the church.
The Service of Lessons: key passages from Scripture recount the history of God’s mighty acts and promises. These readings are accompanied by psalms, canticles, and prayers.
And The Holy Eucharist, which is the proper culmination of the Easter Liturgy. As we keep this holy feast, we share the joy of our Savior’s triumph and are strengthened by his grace to walk in newness of life.

We will be worshiping 7:30 PM at 1234 Whitefish Stage Road, Kalispell.

And don’t forget Sunday, our Easter Celebration at 10:30… and following, our Easter Potluck Feast!

Grace and Peace to you through our Lord Jesus Christ!

Join us this Friday, at 6 PM for our Good Friday Service, commemorating Christ’s work of cleansing us upon the Cross. Good Friday is the second of three sacred days, the Triduum. This most somber of all days is appropriately marked by fasting, abstinence, and penitence, leading us to focus on Jesus and the meaning of his Cross. The church is often darkened. The bare, stark appearance of the space serves as a reminder of the solemnity and the sorrow of the day. The Lord of Life was rejected, mocked, scourged, and then put to death on the Cross. In this service we are reminded of the role which our own sin played in Christ’s suffering and agony, as Christ took all sin upon himself, in obedience to his Father’s will. By the Cross we are redeemed, set free from bo***ge to sin and death. But most remarkably, this sign of death, this sign of punishment, is the sign of God’s never-ending love for all of us, and the unquenchable life that overcame death that we might live.

We will be worshiping 6:00 PM at 1234 Whitefish Stage Road, Kalispell.

Hope to see you then!

Grace and Peace to you through our Lord Jesus Christ!

The Paschal mystery—the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ—is the heart of the Christian Gospel. The evening of Maundy Thursday begins the Triduum (the sacred three days). This service, together with Good Friday, Holy Saturday, and The Great Vigil of Easter, form a single liturgy that walks us through these mysteries and leads us to the Easter celebration.

Maundy Thursday receives its name from the mandatum (commandment) given by our Lord: “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another” (John 13:34). At the Last Supper, Jesus washed his disciples’ feet and commanded them to love and serve one another as he had done. This day commemorates the Lord’s example of servant ministry, the institution of the Eucharist, the agony in the Garden of Gethsemane, and the betrayal leading to Christ’s crucifixion.

We will be worshiping 6:00 PM at 1234 Whitefish Stage Road, Kalispell.

Hope to see you then!

Happy Lent Everyone! This Sunday begins Holy Week, the holiest time of the year, which begins with our Palm Sunday celebration. We will begin outside our new location, 1234 Whitefish Stage Road, with a short service followed by a procession into our space, liturgically participating in our Lord's triumphal entry into Jerusalem, and his offering of himself upon the cross, summed up so well in our Collect of the this week:

The Collect for this week is:
Almighty and everlasting God, in your tender love for us you sent your Son our Savior Jesus Christ to take upon himself our nature, and to suffer death upon the Cross, giving us the example of his great humility: Mercifully grant that we may walk in the way of his suffering, and come to share in his resurrection; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

The Music for this week is:
O God, Beyond All Praising
Word of God
O Sacred Head, Now Wounded
We Adore You, Jesus Christ

Grace and Peace to you through our Lord Jesus Christ!

In our Gospel passage last week, John Chapter 9, we read about a blind man who receives sight and believes in Jesus as the Messiah while those with vision did not see or believe in him.
A similar paradox is given to us again in Chapter 11, our passage for this Sunday. Jesus comes to the town of Bethany, the home of Mary, Martha and Lazarus. Lazarus had died and was already buried for four days. Jesus told Martha “Your brother will rise again!” Martha replies, “I know he will rise again in the resurrection in the last day.” And then Jesus said something remarkable: "I AM the resurrection and the Life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.”
Wow! How can someone live, who is already dead? And how can the living never die when even Lazarus died again after being raised? I say these same words of Jesus as a call to worship when I do a graveside service or a funeral. They have so much meaning, but on the surface they seem to not make sense. However they contain the core hope of the Gospel, and are the greatest comfort to those who walk with grief.
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39

The Collect for this week is:
Almighty God, you alone can bring into order the unruly wills and affections of sinners: Grant your people grace to love what you command and desire what you promise; that, among the swift and varied changes of this world, our hearts may surely there be fixed where true joys are to be found; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

The Music for this week is:
O God, Beyond All Praising
Word of God
I Will Sing of My Redeemer
Heart and Flesh
Great Are You, Lord
Praise the Holiest in the Height

Grace and Peace to you through our Lord Jesus Christ!

From the wilderness of the Negev, to a revelational discussion that exposes the darkness of night to the Light of Christ, this Sunday we have the most quoted part of scripture in Christianity, (John 3:16). Come hear how this passage is not only the hope of the world, the Love of God poured out on all mankind, but is an immediate comfort to those who always need to repent, who seem to never measure up, who feel only they deserve condemnation. Our Scripture is John 3:1-21, the heart of the Gospel.

The Collect for this week is:
Almighty God, you know that we have no power in ourselves to help ourselves: Keep us both outwardly in our bodies and inwardly in our souls, that we may be defended from all adversities that may happen to the body, and from all evil thoughts that may assault and hurt the soul; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

The Music for this week is:
Come, Thou Fount
Word of God
Lord, I Need You
Heart and Flesh
O Love that Will Not Let Me Go
Praise the Holiest in the Height

Grace and Peace to you through our Lord Jesus Christ!

During the second quarter of the 16th century, in the midst of the upheavals of the protestant reformation John Calvin wrote: “If anyone is influenced by ambition, that man gathers disciples, not to Christ, but to himself."

How true that is then as it is now. The church today has been burdened by a spirit of division, challenged by ambition and deception, the faithful have been at odds with the faithless... and this has been true from the beginning. 1 Corinthians 1 records the divisions and schisms of the early church. People took sides over minor differences and created barriers to unity where none existed.

How can we deal with division in the body of Christ, be loving towards our brothers and sisters who may disagree with us, and yet hold true to our faith? The answer is the Gospel, even in its most simple form, as Jesus first preached: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

The Collect for this week is:
Give us grace, O Lord, to answer readily the call of our Savior Jesus Christ and proclaim to all people the Good News of his salvation, that we and the whole world may perceive the glory of his marvelous works; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Happy Epiphany Everyone!

January 6th begins the season of Epiphany, and is the feast day where we celebrate the revelation of God incarnate in his son Jesus Christ; (Theophany in Eastern Churches), and commemorate the visit of the three Magi to the Christ Child. The season that follows, also known as Epiphanytide, runs from January 6th till ash Wednesday, and celebrates the manifestation of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles.

This Sunday is another Epiphany feast where we celebrate the Baptism of our Lord! Our Gospel, Matthew 3:13-17, brings us back to that time where Jesus is revealed on the bank of the Jordan to be the Son of God and is filled with the Holy Spirit, and empowered for ministry on Earth. This proclaims to us and the whole world how we also can become adopted children of God and be filled with the Holy Spirit, empowered to proclaim God's Word to all the world!

The Collect for this week is:
Eternal Father, at the baptism of Jesus you revealed him to be your Son, and your Holy Spirit descended upon him like a dove: Grant that we, who are born again by water and the Spirit, may be faithful as your adopted children; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

This Sunday is the Second Sunday of Christmas! Our gospel reading this Sunday is Matthew 2:1-12. A passage that not only looks at the birth of our Lord and savior but also looks towards Epiphany with the coming of the wise men. Who were these men? One Christmas carol calls them kings, were they? How many wise men were there, and what significance does this story have for us today?

The Collect for this week is:
O God, who wonderfully created, and yet more wonderfully restored, the dignity of human nature: Grant that we may share the divine life of him who humbled himself to share our humanity, your Son Jesus Christ our Lord; who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

O Little Town of Bethlehem
