Hello friends! I am trying to help coordinate the Ward Temple Trip on Saturday, April 7th. It will be a great opportunity for families to attend the temple together and you can even bring your younger children to see the temple grounds, as babysitting will be provided by the youth while you attend an endowment session. We are encouraging anyone and everyone to come and will even help coordinate carpooling. See below details for both youth and adults:

Details for youth:
The youth will be meeting at the Temple at 9:30am for baptisms. After the baptisms and confirmations, the youth will meet up with the adults and children at the rented Family Reunion Centre (see directions and map below). There is a heated indoor space with bathrooms and a ping pong table and there a fun outdoors space and playground. Youth will help babysit children during the adult endowment session from noon-2pm. Lunch will be provided for everyone.
We are encouraging families to attend the temple together, but if your child needs a ride please let me or Erik Fisher know. If you have space in your car for other youth, please also let us know so that we can help coordinate rides for those that need them.
****Youth will need 1.) their temple recommend 2.) their birth certificate or passport and 3.) if they are NOT riding with their parents, they need a signed permission slip and signed note from parents. (Last time I also had a boarder agent tell me it would be helpful if their was a copy of the parent's driver's license with the signed note.)

Details for adults:
Since adults attending the endowment session will be leaving a bit later than the youth: for adults that need a ride, or have room in your car to offer a ride to someone else, please let Trent Spratling know, so that he can help coordinate.
Adults will attend the 12pm Endowment Session. If you have kids, great! Babysitting will be provided by youth and a couple adults during the endowment session.
Lunch will be provided from 11:15-2:30pm at the Reunion Centre, so if you can make over to the reunion centre prior to the endowment session great, but food will also be there afterwards.
****Adults will need 1.) their temple recommend and 2.) a passport or passport card.

Brothers and Sisters it is with reverence and sadness that we announce that Brother Jim Stanard has passed away. Please keep Jeana and their family in your prayers as they make plans to gather and honor him. He will be greatly missed by many friends here in our Flathead Valley. Good morning Kalispell brothers and sisters.
With the hazardous road & weather conditions church has been cancelled for today. Also the Sheriff has issued an order to stay off the roads unless it's an emergency to allow the snow plows to better be able to clear the roadways. Please help your neighbors clear their driveway today if possible. Let us all make a concentrated effort to pray for those in need this day, our state and county workers who are helping to get our roads safe, and look for an opportunity to serve.

Flathead County Sheriff Chuck Curry is requesting emergency travel only Saturday night into Sunday. The alert came out just before 9:30 p.m. Saturday. Curry says it will last between 12 and 24 hours so plow crews can catch up. He reports there have been 50

Brothers and Sisters are you doing all you can to be a missionary and spread the word of God? We are all missionaries of Christ. Let us share the Happiness and Joy of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the world. It can be as simple as a loving gesture, a kind word, an invitation to dinner or helping someone get their car unstuck from the snow. As Elder Neil L Anderson put it:

Soon we will gather as a ward for our Sacrament Meetings at 9am. Please plan as a family to make this adjustment to arrive early and spiritually prepared to worship our Savior. 2018 Sacrament Meetings will be at 9am.
