If you can clearly see everyone else’s mess but never your own, it may be time to get back into the presence of God.

His Word doesn’t only reveal what’s happening around us, it reveals what needs to change within us. Before we point fingers, let’s open our Bibles, examine our own hearts, and allow God to do the work in us first.

Growth begins when we stop looking at everyone else and ask, “Lord, what are You showing me about me?” 💜

A little glimpse of worship from Sunday morning 🎙️🤍

There is something so powerful about worship. It shifts our attention away from everything happening around us and places it back on Jesus. It reminds us of who He is, what He has done and where our hope truly comes from.

Worship isn’t only a song we sing on Sunday, it’s a posture of surrender, gratitude and trust that we carry with us every day🙏

Christ is my firm foundation. Everything else may change, but He never will.

In a little over 12 hours, we’ll gather at 10 AM to encounter God & His presence💜🤍

We’ll continue learning what it means to follow Jesus, be like Jesus, and become more like Jesus.

Tomorrow, we’ll also have a special prayer over all of our youth, babies, kids, & teens as we prepare to head back to school. We’d love for you to bring your children and join us as we pray over them and the year ahead!🙌

We’ll also be wrapping up our Following Jesus series with a powerful conversation about forgiveness!

Come expectant. Come ready. Come encounter Jesus with us.

Becoming a member isn’t just another thing you join, you know?

It’s more than a name on a list or a certificate you receive. It’s a decision to get planted, to grow, to be discipled, to serve, and to become part of what God is doing in and through His church✝️

We believe there is power in being planted. There is purpose in community. There is growth in discipleship. And there is something beautiful about saying, “This is my church. This is where God has called me to grow.”

Membership isn’t the finish line, it’s the beginning of a deeper commitment to the house, to the body of Christ, and ultimately to what God is building through His people💜

Temptation rarely announces itself before it shows up.

That’s why Jesus didn’t tell His disciples to start praying after they were tempted. He told them beforehand:

“Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak!” Matthew 26:41 NLT

There’s a lesson in that order: watch. pray. then face what comes.

Prayer isn’t just what we run to when things go wrong. It’s preparation. It builds spiritual awareness, strengthens our ability to recognize what’s pulling us away from God, and keeps our hearts sensitive to His direction.

We have free will, which means following Jesus requires a daily choice. God leads, corrects, convicts, and gives us strength, but we still have to choose obedience.

Some battles are won long before you ever stand face-to-face with the temptation.

What are you doing in the time before?

Sunday’s message brought us back to a humbling truth: We are the creation. He is the Creator🙏

Isaiah 45:9 asks, “Shall the clay say to him who forms it, ‘What are you making?’” And whew… how often do we do exactly that with God?

“Why are You doing it this way?”
“Why am I here?”
“Why hasn’t this happened yet?”
“Lord, this isn’t what I had planned.”

But the Potter sees what the clay cannot. He knows the finished work while we’re still somewhere in the process.

Jeremiah 18:6 reminds us that we are in His hands. Not forgotten. Not outside of His reach. Not responsible for figuring out every detail of what He is creating.

There comes a point where faith has to say, “God, You know better than I do.”

Less striving. Less trying to control the outcome. More trust in the hands of our Maker.💜

Make me, Lord, even when I don’t understand what You’re making yet.
