The truth is, the things you constantly listen to, surround yourself with, agree with, and follow will eventually shape you. Whether we realize it or not, we begin to become like what we continually sit under.

That is why spending time with the Lord matters. The more time you spend with Him, the more you begin to look like Him, in the way you love, speak, respond, forgive, and live.

Surround yourself with holy people who push you toward Christ, not away from Him. People who challenge you to grow, pray, obey, and walk in truth. Because who and what you follow will always produce something in you💜

Church hurt is real.
Church abuse is real.
And unfortunately, some people encountered control, manipulation, hypocrisy, or judgment before they ever truly encountered Jesus.

But the answer isn’t abandoning God.
The answer is returning to what the church was always meant to be.

Not performance.
Not personalities.
Not platforms.
Not religious culture.

Just people surrendered to Christ, living according to the Word of God, loving others well, serving, praying, repenting, growing, and becoming more like Jesus.

Somewhere along the way, many people learned how to “do church” without actually knowing Him.

Jesus didn’t just call us to attend church.
He called us to BE the church.

Maybe it’s time to return to simplicity again✝️

Following Jesus was never meant to be about staying comfortable.
Comfort tells us to stay where we are.
Jesus calls us to grow.

Growth often requires surrendering our plans, our pride, our fears, and sometimes even the things we’ve grown comfortable holding onto.

The good news is that God isn’t asking us to become someone else… He is transforming us to become more like Christ.

“We will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ...”

The goal isn’t perfection.
The goal is Christlikeness✝️

Sometimes we assume that because a season feels small, repetitive, hidden, or difficult that God must have forgotten about us.

But Joseph’s story shows us something different. God didn’t place Joseph in Potiphar’s house to leave him there as a slave, He placed him there to prepare him. To teach him stewardship, leadership, responsibility, and faithfulness before greater assignments came.

What looked insignificant was actually training ground for destiny.

“The Lord was with Joseph, so he succeeded in everything he did…” — Genesis 39:2 (NLT)
“If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones…” — Luke 16:10 (NLT)

The truth is, some of the most important seasons of our lives won’t feel glamorous. They’ll feel quiet. Ordinary. Stretching. Unseen. But Heaven wastes nothing.

Stay faithful in what God has placed in front of you right now. The small things matter more than you think. 💜

What if the reason you feel disconnected is because you’ve convinced yourself you don’t matter?

The enemy loves to make believers feel unseen, unnecessary, and insignificant.

But God doesn’t create meaningless people.
If He placed you here, there’s a reason. If He saved you, there’s a purpose. If you’re still breathing, He’s not finished.

Don’t underestimate what God can do through one surrendered life💜

Not just hearing the Word… applying it💜

There’s something powerful about people who come hungry to learn, take notes, ask questions, and grow deeper in their walk with God.

Discipleship matters.
Growth matters.
Being teachable matters.

Calling requires surrender.

So many times, the moment God begins pulling us toward something deeper, the excuses start coming out.
“I’m not ready.”
“I can’t do that.”
“Someone else could do it better.”

But throughout scripture, God consistently responds to fear with truth.

Jeremiah tried to explain why he wasn’t qualified, and God immediately addressed the words coming out of his mouth. Because there is power in the tongue. What we continually speak over our lives matters.

God is not looking for perfection. He’s looking for obedience, openness, and a willing heart. He knows how to lead, correct, refine, heal, and strengthen the people He calls💜
