Looking back at the dinner & fun as we celebrated Fr Jose's 10th Anniversary of Priestly Ordination.

Many of Fr Jose's parishioners, friends & family gathered for a dinner & entertainment after the beautiful Solemn High Mass on May 21st in celebration of Fr Jose's 10th Anniversary of Priesthood.

Fr Jose gave his opening remarks and prayer, then the food & fun began. Here's a few candid shots of the food & fun!

English translation -
Deacon - I confess to Almighty God, to blessed Mary ever Virgin, to blessed Michael the Archangel, to blessed John the Baptist, to the holy Apostles Peter and Paul, to all the Saints, and to you Father, that I have sinned exceedingly, in thought, word and deed: through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault. Therefore I beseech blessed Mary ever Virgin, blessed Michael the archangel, blessed John the Baptist, the holy Apostles Peter and Paul, all the Saints, and you father, to pray to the Lord our God for me.

On Thursday, May 21, 2026 - The Feast of the Mexican Martyrs - Fr Jose Haro celebrated the 10th Anniversary of his Priestly Ordination with a beautiful Solemn High Mass followed by a joy-filled dinner and celebration.

Shed a ray of light divine! - (From Pentecost Sequence)

The Paschal Candle remained prominently in the sanctuary and was lit for all public liturgies until the conclusion of Pentecost Sunday. (2002 Missal)

Its removal symbolizes the end of Christ’s visible appearances and the descent of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost Sunday.
The Paschal Candle joins the recessional out of the church, symbolizing Christ's guiding presence.
It is transferred to its permanent home for the remainder of the liturgical year, which is in the baptistery.
