"Serving in a Time of Need in Central Wisconsin - by Scott Fischer"

In the aftermath of a heavy snowstorm that swept through Central Wisconsin, local FCFI members demonstrated the love of Christ through timely and compassionate service.

The weight of the snow caused a shed on a local property to collapse, leaving a difficult and overwhelming situation behind. Equipment was damaged, debris was scattered, and the task of recovery seemed daunting. For the owner, the challenge was even greater as she continues to grieve the recent loss of her husband.

Moved by her situation, FCFI members quickly stepped in to help. With servant hearts and a willingness to meet both practical and emotional needs, the team worked together to clean up the collapsed structure. They carefully removed debris, sorted through damaged items, and secured the equipment that could be saved.

Though some losses could not be avoided, much of the remaining equipment was saved. Beyond the physical work accomplished, the presence of caring individuals brought encouragement and comfort during a very difficult season.

Moments like this reflect the true mission of FCFI—coming alongside those in need and being the hands and feet of Christ. In a time marked by loss and uncertainty, this simple yet powerful act of service became a reminder that no one has to walk through hardship alone. This is how we at FCFI demonstrate the love of Christ to our neighbors.

"Prayer Guide and Devotional - June 3, 2026"

John 8:36
So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

Freedom is something some of us think about around Memorial Day. Freedom in the United States is something many people in the world do not have the chance to experience. However, regardless of the nation we live in or are a part of, we can all experience absolute true freedom. The freedom that comes from knowing Lord Jesus. What are we free from when we trust in the Lord? We are free from the fears of our lives here on earth and we are free from the fear of our uncertain eternal future. Know that the Lord has set us free from the chains of bo***ge such as fear and worry. When we accept Jesus in our hearts and lives, the fear of what happens when we die is broken and gone. We will spend eternity in heaven with Jesus and those that have received Jesus into their hearts and lives! Do you know where you will spend eternity? Are your shackles broken? Come to the Lord today and ask Him into your heart and life and be free indeed!! It is so easy, just ask.

"California FFA 2026 State Convention - by Jeff Goss"

More than three decades ago, during a Full Gospel Businessmen’s meeting in Cortez, Colorado, a simple but powerful word was spoken. A man shared with me what he believed was a message from God—that one day, ministry opportunities would open up for me on the West Coast. At the time, it was received with faith, but like many promises, it required patience. Now, after more than 30 years, that word is beginning to come to pass as doors for ministry in California are opening.

Today, California stands as a significant mission field—perhaps more than ever before. Historically, many major revivals have originated there and then spread across the nation and around the world. Because of this influence, California holds a unique spiritual importance. It is often said that as California goes, so goes the world. This may be one reason it has faced such intense spiritual opposition over the years.

Recent ministry efforts have confirmed just how vital this field is. Among all the FFA conventions held over the years, the response in California has been especially striking. There is a noticeable spiritual hunger among the students, along with a strong interest in becoming involved in the ministry. Nearly 15 response cards were filled out by both students and adults expressing a desire to connect with FCFI for follow-up.

Even more encouraging is the number of young people who made decisions for Christ. Many prayed to receive Him. The impact was so significant that an entire stack of “New Beginnings” discipleship flyers—prepared with resources, teachings, contact information, and guidance for finding a church—was completely distributed by the end of the event. Some students were so eager that they began filling out response cards even before being prompted.

These moments point to something deeper: God is at work in California. Seeds are being planted, lives are being changed, and hearts are opening. The momentum is building, but the work is not finished.

Continued prayer is essential—for more open doors, for opportunities to minister at farm shows and events, and for the lives that have already been touched to grow in faith. What began as a word spoken years ago is now unfolding, God has begun a good work in California and He will complete it.

"Prayer Guide and Devotional - June 2, 2026"

Matthew 6:31-33
“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

It is such a natural process for all of us to worry about so much in our lives. Worry about bills needing to be paid. Worry about job situations. Worry about family members health or relationship issues. Worry about being able to put food on the family table. Worry about car issues. God tells us to stop worrying. God knows that you need all these things. He is waiting for you to come to Him and ask. When we make a relationship with the Lord our number one priority and work, to become one with Him, God will take care of all our needs. We worry and stress because we bear all the burdens of life all by ourselves because we have a weak relationship with the Lord. Look at the bottom of that verse, "Seek FIRST the kingdom of God." The very first thing we must do each day is talk to the Lord and solidify our relationship with Him. Then, watch your daily worries disappear! Remember to go to the Lord first thing everyday and become one with God. As the relationship you have with God becomes closer and tighter, God will attend to your daily needs!! Have you talked to God today?

"Utah FFA 2026 State Convention Report - by Jeff Goss"

God continues to show His faithfulness by opening incredible doors for FCFI to minister to thousands of young people through FFA state conventions across the United States. Each opportunity is a reminder of His perfect timing and His desire to reach the next generation with the truth of the Gospel.

The month of March marked the beginning of this year’s FFA convention season. The first event took place in the beautiful state of Utah, held at the basketball arena at Utah State University in Logan. It was an exciting start, filled with anticipation for how God would move among the students attending.

Together, my wife Julie and I had the privilege of serving at this convention. Over the course of two days, we connected with hundreds of youth, engaging in meaningful conversations and sharing encouragement. Many students stopped by our booth, where we distributed salvation bracelets, operator manuals, and small treats as a way to open doors for deeper conversations.

One particular interaction stood out. A young girl approached our booth and shared that she had experienced hurt and disappointment from a previous religious background. With care and compassion, we explained that it is not religion that saves or fulfills, but rather an intimate, personal relationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ, His Son. She listened attentively, asking thoughtful questions and showing genuine interest in what was being shared.

It was clear that God was at work in her heart. While we may not see the full outcome right away, we trust that the seeds planted will continue to grow as she seeks truth and understanding.

Moments like these are why FCFI remains committed to showing up, being available, and faithfully sharing the message of hope. As the FFA convention season continues, we look forward with expectation, knowing that God will continue to touch lives and draw young people closer to Him.

"Prayer Guide and Devotional - June 1, 2026"

1 Peter 5:7
casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Often I will start to think of all the things I need to do. There just is not enough time in the day to accomplish all the things that need to be addressed. We run the risk of health and emotional issues because we carry all these burdens all by ourselves. It was never God's intention for us to worry and stress to the point of health concerns. The Lord tells us we are to cast all of our burdens and cares upon Him. He will help us accomplish all we need to do. He may provide the means to accomplish them. He may provide the help to accomplish them. Or He may help us to realize it is not a need of ours at all. And why does the God that created the world and the universe get involved in our burdens? Because He is a God of love and one of His ways of showing His perfect love to us is by helping take care of the burdens stressing our lives. Yes, God really, really, really cares for us all!!Remember to go to the Lord with your burdens. Humble yourself and ask the Lord for help. He loves you and wants to help you but He does not always just step in. He wants us to learn to come to Him. Come to the Lord today in prayer for all your troubles!!

"The Pastor's Piece - Pastor Kevin Cernek, FCFI Chaplain"

History is never simply political - there is always a spiritual reality surrounding human events. The wars, alliances, betrayals, and struggles between the nations of the world reveal how unstable and self-exalting human power becomes when separated from God. Earthly conflicts are manifestations of a deeper battle between human pride, between the powers and rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places, and the sovereign rule of God. Behind every age of oppression or arrogance stands the same spiritual issue: humanity is attempting to rule without submission to God.

C. S. Lewis, in Mere Christianity, presented a powerful argument often called the “Liar, Lunatic, or Lord” trilemma. Lewis wrote that people often say they are willing to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher but not as God. He argued that this is not a reasonable conclusion because a man who made the claims Jesus made could not simply be regarded as a good teacher. According to Lewis, Jesus would either be a liar, a lunatic, or truly the Lord. The question Lewis presses upon every reader is simple: Who is Jesus really?

The Scriptures consistently point to the trustworthiness of God and the certainty of His promises. Throughout the Bible, God reveals Himself as faithful, truthful, and unchanging. Because His character never changes, His promises never fail. One of the clearest assurances in Scripture is that God will never abandon His people. Hebrews 13:5 says, “I will never leave you nor forsake you,” while Matthew 28:20 reminds believers that Christ is with them always, even to the end of the age. In moments of loneliness, uncertainty, or fear, believers can rest in the promise that God’s presence remains constant whether they feel or not.

Another foundational promise is salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. John 3:16 declares that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life, and Romans 10:13 assures us that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved. Salvation is not earned by human effort but received through faith in Christ alone. This promise offers hope to every person seeking forgiveness and reconciliation with God.

The Bible also promises complete forgiveness for those who repent. First John 1:9 teaches that if we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Through Christ, guilt no longer defines the believer because grace has the final word. Even hardships can be used for good purposes because God works all things for good for His people. In Genesis 50:20 Joseph told his brothers, “What you meant for evil, God meant for good.” This does not mean every circumstance is easy or understandable, but it does mean God is sovereign over every detail of life.

The promises of God endure because God cannot lie and He does not change. His faithfulness has been demonstrated throughout history and ultimately through Jesus Christ. When someone truly encounters Jesus, everything changes. Christ gives a living hope that cannot die. This is more than comfort or inspiration; it is the assurance that death is not the end and that those who belong to Christ will live again.

The call of these promises is not merely to admire them but to rest in them completely. To believe that God is truly with us when we feel alone, that He has truly forgiven us when we feel unworthy, and that He is truly working for good even when life feels unresolved. These promises are not fragile because they are grounded in the character of God Himself.

We have so much to be thankful for. We could make long lists of blessings we are experiencing. But above every earthly blessing stands the eternal reality Jesus Christ has opened the way for us to come near to God. Through Him, we are not only forgiven, we are welcomed into the presence of the living God and invited to remain there. There is no greater privilege in this world than to know Him, to behold Him, and to linger in His presence. The deeper truth is one day, faith will become sight. The presence we now taste in moments of worship and communion will surround us fully and forever. May God’s blessings be yours in their fullness.

"Prayer Guide and Devotional - May 25, 2026"

John 15:13
Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.

For most people Memorial Day marks the start of summer. School is out or will be soon. Vacations start for many people across the country. Cookouts and family gatherings occur for most families. It is viewed by so many as a joyful holiday. However, people lose the real meaning of Memorial Day. It is a day of remembrance of all those that gave the ultimate sacrifice, their lives, in defense of our great country. Since the start of the 20th century the US has been involved in seven wars or conflicts. Even Jesus tells us the supreme act of an individual in laying down his life for another is the greatest act of love. On this day, Memorial Day, we are remembering the freedom's we have today came at a cost. The cost of American military lives. Those Americans that lost their lives because they viewed this country, you and me, as being so important, so special, as to lay down their lives for us. Just as Jesus laid down His life to the point of death on the cross, for all of the world. Remember the real meaning of Memorial Day. All of the men and women that gave their lives in the service and defense of our country and of others unable to defend themselves around the world. Thank all the veterans you see today for their service to this country. Many never came home.

Prayer Requests!
*Happy Memorial Day!!! Please pray for those who are serving in the military all over the world. Pray for families who have lost loved ones while protecting our freedoms

"From a Football Camp to a Calling: A Full-Circle Moment in Nebraska - by Jeff Goss"

At the age of 13, a trip to a football camp at Sterling College in Sterling, Kansas, would become a defining moment in my life. The original draw was simple: an All-American player from the Nebraska Cornhuskers was there as a coach. But what seemed like an athletic opportunity quickly revealed itself to be something much deeper. The camp was largely centered on the Christian faith, with clear and compelling messages about salvation. It was there that I first heard how to be saved through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

That early encounter planted a seed—one that would come full circle years later.

Decades after that camp experience, the opportunity arose to minister at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska, located just across from the very stadium where that Nebraska player once competed. Alongside John and Eileen Fethkenher, the message of the Gospel was shared with FFA students gathered from across the state.

While some attendees spoke about the devastating wildfires burning across western Nebraska, something very different was happening inside the arena. In eastern Nebraska, there was a different kind of fire, the fire of God convicting many students to give their lives to Christ.

One of the FFA students who helped us set up our booth happened to be from the same hometown as the Nebraska football player who I talked about earlier. Observing the ministry booth, he made the comment, “Your booth is the most important booth because you are talking about God.” While every booth at the convention served a purpose, the Bible does say, “What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his own soul?”

Once again, we had many FFA students pray with us to receive Christ as I believe we are in the middle of a historic revival among young people. Across Nebraska—and beyond—there are signs of a growing spiritual awakening and revival not only through this ministry but through many others across the United States.

Please pray that this spiritual fire will continue to spread—reaching more lives, strengthening faith, and impacting communities across the nation and around the world as we finish out the FFA state conventions in 2026.

"Prayer Guide and Devotional - May 23, 2026"

Isaiah 40:31
But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

Wait on the Lord. Have patience. So often people pray and ask the Lord for something. Then, they see no response. We often take no response as the answer no. But, in reality, no response is no response. The Lord will answer in His time. He is trying to teach us to have patience (longsuffering). He is trying to teach us to "wait on the Lord." The Lord is there and He is in control. And when we start to develop our patience in the Lord, we will not grow weary and we will not grow tired. Worry and impatience leads to becoming full of fear. When we wait on the Lord, we know the Lord has heard our prayers and He will handle it as it should be handled and in the right time it should be handled.Lord, help me to develop patience. Help me to wait on You. Help me to run and not grow weary. Help me to walk and not grow faint. And Lord, help me to mount up with wings like eagles knowing You are with me every second of every day and that I can get over, around, or through any obstacle the enemy sets before me. You are my God and You are the ruler of all the world. I love You Lord!! In Jesus name, Amen!
