Second Baptist Church Kalamazoo is a Christian ministry that reaches all people with the Gospel from the cradle to the grave through evangelism, discipleship, and sound biblical teaching. Originally organized in 1855 as the African Baptist Church, it has since then been pillar for ministry in the Kalamazoo community. Marshall and through its service and legacy will continue to grow God's kingdom for generations to come.

The Historic Second Baptist Church of Kalamazoo will be celebrating the 3rd Pastoral Anniversary of Pastor Chevez D. Marshall on August 16, 2026. To help with the celebration, we will be publishing a souvenir booklet in which YOU can participate in by purchasing ads to be included within.
