The Kingfishers fled the camporee Sabbath afternoon to escape the storm. All five Pathfinders were fast asleep before we even left Rapid City, SD. That evening, we explored the petrified forest trail amphitheater and talked about the sermon on the Mount as the sun set. The next morning, we visited Bear Country USA and found it hilarious that some of the animals we see all the time in Michigan were being showcased, like raccoons, skunks, coyotes, red foxes, and even groundhogs!

Get ready for a tale of epic proportions! On Tuesday, the Kingfishers embarked on a thrilling adventure involving axe throwing (yikes!) and a colossal obstacle course. But that's not all, folks! On Wednesday, we explored a building filled with booths and watched a dino program by Rich Aguilera (Jurassic Park much?). And let's not forget the endless walking and pin trading, where our young explorers met people from all corners of the globe, including Korea, Japan, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. And did I mention the evening program was a wet and wild ride? Don't worry, we're all safe and sound, ready to tackle another day of fun and games! A double rainbow has appeared over Cam-Plex after the storm. The all clear has been given and Pathfinders are returning to their campsites.
Let this rainbow be a reminder that God has never and will never leave us or forsake us. Keep believing in the promises our God!

Today's wild adventure featured the junior ranger program at Bad Lands National Park, where the kids had a blast feeding the prairie dogs and trying to outsmart them with their best rodent jokes! Layna is enjoy her time taking pictures. What a great day heading to International Camporee

Just had the best time 'hopping' around Chamberlain South Dakota to see the 'Dignity' statue, and the kids found a frog to add some 'ribbiting' fun to the trip! Getting closer to International Camporee
