We’re proud of you, Isaac!! ❤️🎶

🎶 Spotlight on Isaac! 🎶

During the 2024–2025 school year, Isaac spent his lunchtime playing piano and helping with laundry at Heritage as part of his Work-Based Learning experience. Over the summer, he was invited to practice with the Heritage choir—and this fall, he proudly accompanied the choir on piano for two songs at their fall concert!

Through this experience, Isaac has gained valuable work skills, built meaningful relationships, and shared his love of music with a whole new community. One especially touching moment: a choir member from Heritage even surprised Isaac with a boutonniere for the concert to help him feel encouraged and celebrated 💐

If you’ve never been to Night to Shine and would like to know what to expect:

😀Every guest gets a buddy to join them for the night

There are many choices for the guests- it is their night so all of these are optional:
🌼 Get a corsage
🟥Walk down the red carpet
📸 Get your photo taken
🍽️ Enjoy dinner and dessert
🚃 Go for a short limo or trolley ride
💃🏽 🪩 🕺🏼 Dance to great music with friends
🤫 There is a quiet room for sensory breaks
🐕 A therapy dog is usually available to pet
🪄 A magician is often there doing tricks
👑 At the end of the night: Go on stage and receive a crown

We hope many of our friends were able to get tickets in time!
If you have tickets and know of a friend or family member that would like to volunteer, there are lots of opportunities to be a part of this amazing and fun night! ❤️
The greatest need is for buddies to pair up with guests and enjoy the evening together! We will definitely have some Capernaum leaders going as buddies again this year (and 4 of us went last year) so let us know if you have any questions!
