Tonight for OLR we took a little trip through Mexican culture, fellowship and food! 🇲🇽✨

We started the night learning about “saludar a todos”: the importance of greeting and acknowledging one another ~ everyone took time to welcome each other before the night began

Then Brother Asael shared some fascinating history behind traditional foods. Fun fact: did you know pozole has roots connected to ancient cannibalistic rituals before being transformed into the dish we know today? 👀

We enjoyed some AMAZING food & are so thankful for everyone who brought dishes, cooked, prepped, served and cleaned up afterward. Your labor of love made the night special ❤️

We also celebrated Sister Rosi’s birthday together & learned the surprising history of the piñata — including its origins in China and how missionaries later used it as a tool to help teach the Gospel

After that… it was time to break the piñata 😂🎉 followed by games, laughter and sweet fellowship together

So thankful for nights like these and for the beautiful people God has surrounded us with.

Tonight for Operation Life Readiness
we did the “Flip It Challenge”! 💸🛍️✨

We hit up 2 different thrift stores with a budget of $25 or less and everyone picked items to resell. Now the game is on: throughout the week we’ll be flipping our finds online or in person to see who can make the most profit 📈

Next week we’ll come back and see who won… and the winner gets to pick dinner! 🏆

We wrapped up the night at Raising Cane’s & somehow ended up in a full Bible study. Couldn’t have planned it better 🙏📖✨

Today we celebrate the greatest promise ever fulfilled - the resurrection of Jesus Christ 🙌

That’s the kind of God we serve: faithful, unchanging and true to every word He speaks

“He is not here: for he is risen, as he said.” Matthew 28:6 (KJV)

Because He lives, we have hope. Because He kept His promise, we can trust Him with our lives, our future and our faith 💛

After worshipping & hearing an awesome message we feasted then burned the calories playing volleyball, basketball & co****le 🍗🍽️🏐🏀

A HUGE thank you to every single person who helped make today possible: from planning, contributing, serving, setting up & cleaning! We truly couldn’t have done it without you. We love you all & had such an amazing time together! Come join us

Tonight for OLR we taught “Anyone Can Cook” 👩🏽‍🍳✨

Here’s what we learned:
• Knife basics & safe handling 🔪
• Building flavor step by step 🍲
• Understanding textures:
creamy, crispy, al dente
• Hands on training 🍋🍅
• Timing: starting
dishes in the right order ⏱️

So much fun was had and we were able to taste the fruits of our labor. Come join us!

So incredibly thankful for everyone who served: those who set up, cleaned, cooked, brought dishes and gave from the kindness of their hearts. Your willingness to serve does not go unnoticed. His Kingdom is built by faithful hands and joyful hearts 💛

✨ A December To Remember ✨
What a month of memories! From the stillness of Communion and the glow of our Candlelight Service to the high-energy fun of our Escape Room OLRs and barracks bible studies our hearts are so full. Ending it all with tonight’s Bethlehem Supper was the perfect way to celebrate together!🕯️🍲

We are so grateful for the birth of our Savior, whose coming brought us all into the beautiful family of God. We love you all and have cherished every moment of celebrating this season with you! 🌟🙌 Merry Christmas from our family to yours! 🎄❤
