From Susan Bradley, our resident practitioner:
Healing respiratory problems calls on a deep understanding of the Holy Spirit. This verse from Job has helped me to accept the quiet assurance that life in and of divine Love can be ours.
But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding. (Job 32:8)
It helped me to learn that neither I nor anyone is a helpless victim in life. We have our Almighty Father Mother God’s blessing as we move ahead to solve the problems we encounter in the course of our lives.
A lovely statement of His blessing is found in Ephesians:
"That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen."
(Ephesians 3:16–21).

In our complicated world, let’s get a good start on solving our various problems. To begin, remember that not one of us is a helpless victim. Each one of us has been endowed by our Creator with intelligence and strength. Nothing can interfere with this. We have the power to think and act rightly whatever the circumstances. Exercise it. With God’s help, facing reality head on, we can learn to overcome our fears and personal hang ups. We can love our fellow man and care for all of God’s creation no matter what. We can absolutely be what God created us to be – the loved of Love.
