St Paul is blessing backpacks tomorrow to bless the school year for all students, teachers and staff! You are welcome to bring your backpacks and a special blessing tag will be given. Sunday School and Childrens Choir will be back on September 13th with choir at 9 and Sunday School at 9:30. Sunday Funday will continue with kids invited to come and a different activity happens every Sunday from 9:30-10:15.

Day 5….Howler monkey howling competition…we learn lots of things at VbS!! And hey…these kiddos brought even more offering and we ended the week with a donation…so far… of $700.38 for “Birthday Wishes “!!! Our finale will be Sunday at O-Mak-O-Hak park for church services at 10:30. Please bring lawn chairs and a side dish if you wish as a carry in meal will be served immediately following service. Family Pool party from 12-2!!

Final day of VBS is tonight. We hope everyone has had a good time. Exciting news...we have already EXCEEDED our $500 goal with a collection total of $589.26 for "Birthday Wishes"!! Let's keep it going! Tonight's meal is cheese and meat sticks from Papa's Pizza thanks to our Consistory President. Thanks Mike!

These amazing, God loving VBS-ers are having a blast and Today we learned God is Love.

This week our offering is going to “Birthday Wishes”. This is a brand new charitable entity that’s sole purpose is to provide birthday gifts to children in foster care in the 1st and 2nd Circuits in Missouri. Clark County has an average of 75 children in care. The goal for each child is a $25 gift and they give a wish list of what they would like. Each month the wish lists are shopped for and gifts are wrapped and given to the foster child by their birthday.

Tonight, St Paul UCC VBS took up an offering of $239 bringing our 4 day total to $589.26 and our goal was $500!!! Obviously we can’t stop there…gotta keep it going! When asking the kids while we were in the sanctuary at what the new goal should be, a number of 7 Million was shouted (they were REALLY excited we met the goal 🤣) but I don’t think we will try for that number. We do want to keep the good vibes going and will continue to collect on our final day, Thursday, as well as Sunday when we perform at O-MakO-Hak during our church service and picnic . Family pool party will follow from 12-2.

Offering for the week so far to "Birthday Wishes" is $140.15 of a $500 goal! Tonight is chicken nugget night or sandwiches. A group picture is posted to our page but Keri is happy to share with each of you! Notes went home regarding Sunday church in the park and pool party to follow. We love having your kids!!
