Preparing bulletins for services, keeping balances for all the parishes in the county, answering phone calls, record keeping, creating various documents through Microsoft Word, creating monthly reports, updating Facebook and website, computer skills, booking skills, knowledge of QuickBooks and all other duties assigned.

Hours are flexible and pay depends on experience. Training is available.

Fortified by the anointing of the Holy Catholic Church, The Reverend Paul Marion Hartley passed away peacefully at Boone Hospital, Columbia, Missouri on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.

A prayer service will be held at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Boonville, Missouri, on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 with a rosary to be prayed at 4 p.m. and evening prayers at 5:30 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church on Wednesday, January 19 at 11 a.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral, with a rosary to be prayed at 9:45 a.m. Burial will follow in the SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church Cemetery.

Father Paul M. Hartley was born August 13, 1955, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the son of the late Herman Hartley and the late Martha Bechtold Hartley. He is survived by his sisters Jayne (John) Evatte and Monica Hartley, and his brother Mark Hartley, seven nieces and nephews, plus his brother priests.

Father Hartley attended SS. Peter & Paul Catholic School and graduated from Laura Speed Elliott High School, both in Boonville. He attended Rockhurst University, Kansas City, Missouri from 1973-1977 and St. John’s Seminary, St. Cloud, Minnesota from 1977-1981. He was ordained to the Holy Priesthood on May 30, 1981, by the Most Reverend Michael F. McAuliffe, Bishop of Jefferson City, at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

Father Hartley celebrated his 25th Anniversary of Holy Priesthood in August 13, 2006 at the Shrine of St. Patrick Parish, St. Patrick. He celebrated his 40th Priestly Anniversary on May 30, 2021, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Montgomery City.

Memorial contributions are suggested to SS. Peter and Paul Catholic School, SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery, or the Little Sisters of the Poor, Kansas City, Missouri

Due to the weather that has hit our area, Fr. Rob has decided to cancel ALL Catholic weekend Masses in Clark County. No 7pm Mass Saturday 1\15\22 at the Shrine of St. Patrick and no 8am Mass Sunday 1\16\22 at St. Michael’s.
If you must travel please be safe.

Fr. Rob Fields, Pastor of the Shrine of St. Patrick in St. Patrick MO and St. Michael’s in Kahoka MO announces that The Most Rev. W. Shawn McKnight, S.T.D., has given permission to have a Weekend Mass at the Shrine of St. Patrick beginning September 4. The Mass will be on Saturday evening at 7pm. The Mass at St. Michael’s will continue to be at 8am on Sunday morning. All Catholics and members of all Faith Traditions are welcome to attend.
