Once again the angels are rejoicing. We had another baptism on Sunday, August 31, 2025. Bro. Douglas Alvarenga baptized Renford George, immediately following services at the Hobe Sound Beach. It was a beautiful day.

The angels are rejoicing again!! We have another soul added to the Church. Carol Ann Lappala was baptized on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, by Brother Douglas Alvarenga.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

As you are probably aware, hurricane Ian is near landfall and now expected to cut across the state from Punta Gorda to Orlando. The weather outlook in our area is bleak to say the least! Out of an abundance of caution we will not be meeting tonight for our normal Wednesday night Bible Class. Please hunker down and enjoy a night of personal/family Bible study. I believe I will study Mk 4.35ff, where Jesus is asleep in the boat during a storm.

Please continue to pray for all of those who did not or could not evacuate. There are many hospital workers, law enforcement, Coast Guard, EMS, and other workers who had to remain in place to serve others. As you remember them in prayer; Maria, Crystal and I ask that you make a special prayer for TJ. Crystal was able to evacuate and is here with us, but TJ had to stay back for emergency response in Arcadia. Thank you all for your prayers, and if there is anything I can do for you in all of this, please let me know. Hopefully our area will be spared from anything too serious!
