Happy to be celebrating my 55th Wedding Anniversary this month! Steve and I have enjoyed active lives each pursuing our interests while raising two sons. We are blessed with 6 grandchildren and two grandsons married. A granddaughter getting married in January. We have all been working since the age of 14 and enjoy sharing our experiences along life’s journey. As for me, I wish everyone a prosperous and peaceful 2025.Have fun and enjoy your work. Feels good to do an honest day’s work and enjoy various interests. Always learning! Lots to be grateful for and we can make the good life happen!

I learned today that Neil Wolfe passed in March at age 93. He helped me during a difficult time in my life when I was fighting for my life as a victim of acute leukemia. In the late 1990’s we met and decided to collaborate as a piano/vocal duo. We planned a show and just as we were ready to go on the road, I was diagnosed with Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia and given one year to live. I called to let him know we had to put our show on the “back burner”
until further notice. Life goes on! I called him 6 months later to let him know I was still alive but very weak and not sure if I would ever regain strength to
perform again. Four years later I called and asked if he remembered our show. He said yes and I asked if we might be able to go to a recording studio and do an improv on our work we had rehearsed. We did! He was in one room and I in another. Two tracks. I took his piano tracks recorded that day and went home to practice and try to regain strength vocally. It took me almost two years to regain strength with my personal music minus one. Neil
had retired from
performing but I did have the opportunity to record our originally intended live performances.
R.I.P. Neil and thanks for your service as a friend to many and great musician . Our CD is worth listening to for his piano playing and brilliant accompaniment ❤️

Hello dear friends…. After many years of work activity, this past year I have been taking time enjoying the marriages of two of our grandsons and reflecting on the thousands of songs I have sung and played on the piano. Stephen Sondheim will be missed!!! It is wonderful he lived to be 91 and millions can continue to enjoy his music. Apparently, there is a new musical of his to look out for. I am working on a sacred music recording and now that covid is more undercontrol have begun teaching piano and voice again and considering carefully any future live performances. Enjoying some special time with my husband. ❤️

🎼After 18 months in Florida, I am back on Long Island and, like many, adjusting to new routines after this unusual covid year. Happily, two of our grandsons
are getting married this summer and Steve and I are enjoying following their news and will attend both joyous ceremonies!!!

As for me, this summer I am spending time working on a recording with no specific performance plans through October. Quite an adjustment after performing continually all my life! It’s nice to have some time off and I look forward to getting more active again after October! Wishing everyone a happy, healthy summer! ❤️
