EMBC is located in the Caledonia Community in between Junction City and El Dorado, AR. The church was founded in 1861 by a former slave, Albert Creer, who was given the land along with his freedom by his former owners, the Wooly family to start the church and school at the beginning of the Civil War (ain't God good!). At 155 years and counting, Ebenezer is still going strong and still striving to be a beacon of hope and learning for the community and a place of worship and refuge.
