A message from Jesus.
Walk with me along the high road of Thanksgiving and you will enjoy the delights I have made ready for you.
To protect your thankfulness, you must remember that you reside in a fallen world, where blessings and sorrows abound freely. Be careful not to let adversities defeat you. We walk through a day with beauty and brightness seeing only the grayness of our thoughts. You must remember to give thanks to Me at all times.
You can walk through the darkest days with joy in your heart because you know that the light of my presence is still on you.
Rejoice in this day I have made, for I am with you always.

When things seem out of our control, maybe they are but they are not out of God's control. Remember to take it to the Lord. He listens and will answer in due time. Patience is the word here. God always answers our prayer in due time.
May God bless you and give you patience. David waited and praised the Lord in Psalm 9:1-2, 4

I was reading this the other day and thought this may be something all should know

God's love is like an anchor when the angry billows roll -
a mooring in the storms of life, a stronghold for the soul.

The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalm 18:2

Today stay firmly and securely anchored to the Lord.

Just recently I saw a post from someone looking for a Lutheran Church. I'm sorry I was not available when that message came in but will try to do better at checking this daily.
All our welcome at our services. We'd love to meet you.

Have you ever wondered how God's ways fit into the pressures and stresses of real life? It's only normal given our partial understanding of God, that we would have such questions. In Psalm 119 :137-138 the Psalmist reminded himself of God's fairness and trustworthiness. When we make God's power and holiness a starting point for prayer, our daily struggles come into perspective. There is only on place to turn when nothing seems to make sense.: God and his ways.
Commit your problems and difficulties you face today in Christ. Ask him to help you find joy in his ways, I believe you will find you are happier. Let God lead you to where you are meant to be.

Have you ever wondered if you are good enough? Is being a good person enough?
I have, and I have come to the conclusion, that it's a good thing, but it is not enough. We are so busy in our lives that we put off the most important part of the day. We should start our day with God. What if before we head out the door or whatever our plans are we start our day with praise for how God has helped us? In prayer today, proclaim his unfailing love, and tonight, before going to bed, praise him again for his faithfulness. Life is short and we should not forget who is helping us. Your days just might not be so difficult if we let God help us.

Read Lamentations 5:19 - 21

Jeremiah possessed one unshakable conviction. God doesn't change. Our faithfulness and our feelings are as fleeting as a breeze, but God remains the same.
Acknowledging our complete dependence
upon God in our prayers should be one of the first steps we take in prayer. God remains forever the same; we are the ones who have wondered from him. Today take time to praise the Lord for his unchanging love.

Read Psalm 118:1-4

Dependable. Reliable. Faithful. We all want these qualities in our friends - dependable when the going gets tough, reliable when we need to count on them. and faithful to the end.
Celebrate God's faithfulness. Think about the ways God has blessed you and those you love. Give him the thanks and praise he so deserves.

Gods faithful love endures forever.............

When Jeremiah prayed for the spiritual healing of the nation of Judah in Jeremiah 14:19-22 he confessed the sins of his people first. Sin, either ours or the sins of others inevitably brings pain and suffering. Jesus addressed the sins of the person asking for healing. We must address our sins first prior to asking for help as Jeremiah did. Follow Jeremiah's lead and cast yourself on the Lord's mercy and be patient and wait for the Lord to answer. You will find that he will answer at just the right time.
You are welcome to join us any Saturday at 10am for service. We would welcome you with open arms and the Lord's love.
