“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates." (Dt 6:4–9)

What are some ways that you are encouraging and teaching your family, yourself, and those around you as you "sit in your house" much more during this time?

Hello all, just sending out an update in light of current events. According to recommended state and local policies, our church is small enough to still meet as of now. We will, however, start having all services and classes in the sanctuary to allow for spacing. We also encourage high attention to hygiene and limit of physical contact. If you are sick or feel you are getting sick, we ask that you stay home. If you are uncomfortable attending, feel free to stay home. Thursday night meals are also cancelled until further notice. The current plan for Thursday nights is to have a time of prayer only from 7-7:30. We will begin live streaming services soon and will keep everyone updated on all changes. God bless!

Check out this past Sunday's sermon for an encouraging and challenging talk on one of the most intimidating chapters in the Bible: Psalm 119. What if, instead of being discouraged by its length, we saw it as a reminder of what our hearts will feel when we delight in the Word of God? When we learn, live, and love the Word, our hearts will overflow with praise for God and his Word. Our life will be a living Psalm 119, and 176 verses will seem inadequate to praise our Lord and His precious Word.
