There are people in your life who love you simply because you are you. They are interested in you and try to be a part of your life. They're honest with you even when it's uncomfortable. You may not always agree on everything, but there's a mutual respect that not only allows different perspectives but celebrates them while still fostering closeness and growth. These people play a crucial role in your personal growth, inspiring, encouraging, and supporting you to be your absolute best for no other reason than they love you.
One of your greatest legacies will be the memories you leave behind. Your time is precious, and spending it trying to convince others that you are "worthy" is misguided and wasteful. I encourage you then to take an honest life assessment. Identify those who desire and deserve your precious time, and then make a concerted effort to invest more of it, creating cherished memories with them. You'll be glad you did, and so will they.
