Post by Tiffany! A testament to what God Is doing
In the lives of those in the Discipleship/recovery house!

I've navigated life's darkest moments, yet discovered resilience and hope in the midst of adversity. As I approach 77 days of sobriety, I'm reminded that every step forward is a testament to my strength. The unwavering support of my discipleship house family and my faith have been instrumental in my journey. Though the pain of losing loved ones has left an indelible mark, it has also sparked a transformative journey of healing and growth. Writing poetry has become a therapeutic outlet, allowing me to process my emotions and share my story with others who understand the struggle. My daughters, Diona and Caebra, and my grandkids are beacons of light, inspiring me with their resilience and strength. I've learned to lean into my faith, even when uncertainty lies ahead. The discipleship house has been a sanctuary, where I can be vulnerable and authentic. My tribe of brothers and sisters in recovery remind me that I'm not alone in this journey. While struggles with grief, self-doubt, and temptation have been real, I've also celebrated victories, like sharing my story and finding joy in serving others. I've discovered a sense of purpose in helping others navigate their own path to recovery. I'm grateful for the lessons, struggles, and victories that have shaped me into the person I am today – imperfect, yet determined to live a life of purpose and meaning. I'm reminded that I'm not alone, and neither are you. There's hope beyond addiction, pain, and fear. I encourage you to take the first step towards healing and join me on this journey, one step at a time, with faith and support guiding us. g ip

We get so wrapped up in the part of scripture that talks about “whatever you did for one of the least of these you did for Me!” Here is the whole scripture! A LOT of people will be in very big trouble when they have to stand before the judgement Throne!!! This scripture very plainly spells it out. If you do not care for “the least of these” you will have eternal punishment aka hell! I pray that God always gives me eyes to see people the way He does!!!

35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’

44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’

45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’

46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”berlne
